HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The State Attorney General's office has charged a Honolulu Police officer shown in cell phone video body slamming a man in Palolo Valley in February.
Only Hawaii News Now reported on the case months ago when 25-year old Eric Masrasrik was thrown to the ground by Officer Siave Seti, Jr. Seti is charged with assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor.
The cell phone video doesn't show what led up to the confrontation, but Masrasrik claims it was unprovoked.
He also says the officer punched him in the face.
Seti, a two year veteran of the force, did not arrest Masrasrik for any crimes that day.

If you are going to go through the trouble of slamming someone and using force on them...probably should have an arrestable crime and complete that arrest and paperwork.

Young cops are likely still full of the "moke" mentality (thug/punk). Always ready to rumble. You do not want to mess with a Hawaiian 100-200 pounds over your weight.
This is how I know there are still good cops.....they will bring bad cops up on charges when they get out of line.

I have no proof he is Samoan. I just know lots of Samoans play football and he looks Polynesian and has an odd name. So must be Samoan!@!!!!!111!!!!
What matters is that a muscular, roughly 300 pounds guy gives someone a body slam for something that doesn’t even warrant an arrest.
