Christians shouldn’t act like Muslims. I can’t see anyone who’s read the Book and understood it would force a person to convert or die. Its just not the Christian way. Of course I’m ot over there and don’t know their customs, culture or history so I’m just an armchar quarterback commentator...: )
You are right, and the Catholic Church does forbid forced conversion.
It would be interesting to find out the background of this situation. It seems that this is a local “militia,” which sounds to me like there is a good chance that Catholics were suffering persecution from Moslems and were not protected by anyone and so have banded together to protect themselves.
Of course you’re right. I think why this is happening now and happening there is because after some years of Muslims abusing Christians there the Christians have organized and armed themselves. They are forcing Muslims to convert because they have correctly figured out Islam is the problem. Their solution, however, makes them act just like the Muslims. Not a good idea.
I agree. What I can see happening is the locals getting fed up with the antics of the death cult worshipers in the area(you know, beheadings, bombings, etc, the things those whacky muslims do), and telling them to stop acting like muslism, or else. To a jihadi with a mission, that would be akin to telling them to convert, or die.
