I posed this question last week on another thread.

If it is all about health care than why are fighting states like Texas, when they try and adopt a law that requires their clinics to meet the same standards as other out-patient surgical facilities and their doctors must be affiliated (practice privileges) with a one of the local hospitals.

Same fight here in NC. I cannot get a single pro abortion liberal I know to justify why abortion clinics should not meet the standards of surgical facilities. The phrase that shuts them up - “I thought a key reason for legalized abortion was to eliminate the back alley butchers.”
