Isn’t that what Russia got with Putin somehow getting a third term? No thanks, keep it in Russia, and let’s keep our 22nd Amendment.

“Baraq is ready to ... ride off to 40 years of total leisure and opulence.”

Or so he thinks....

He has made several statements about ruling without Congress or staying on after the term is supposed to end.

Why?

You may not be far off! I can see this creature’s masters precipitating a crisis as the basis for suspending the Constitution. (i admit the probability is very low but it is still there)

The fewer taxpayers we have, the more tax users we have...then yes, he could probably win a third term if he could run again.

Fact is free market capitalism, private property rights, and individual liberty are NOT compatible with popular mass democracy. Our Founding Fathers understood this. That’s why they established a limited government constitutional republic. The Electoral College was set up to elect the president. US Senators were elected by state legislators, not popular vote. Voting in federal elections was limited only to property owners. I now see the wisdom of that model. Popular mass democracy leads to unlimited government which leads to socialism. Our Founding Fathers got it. Too bad we don’t.

Just the take from POTUS pardon bribes will be astounding.

Then the huge contributions to the “Baraq Obama Foundation” / speaking fees.

They’ll make the Clintons look like paupers.

Interesting little tidbit:

Brooks quit when Warner Bros. refused to cast his first choice for Black Bart, co-writer and gonzo comedian Richard Pryor.

“The studio said he couldn’t be insured after a drug arrest. Richard urged me to return and audition other actors. He thought Cleavon Little was a better choice than him — ‘He’s a stage-trained actor, charming, handsome and strong, plus this guy is coal-black, way darker than me. He’s going to scare the s–t out of that town.’ ”

“But the law is the law,” he said, “and no person is above the law, not even the president.”

Sez the jabroni who writes law himself.

Cleavon was probably the better choice, anyways.

In Starship Troopers author Robert A. Heinlein posited a world in which only veterans might vote or hold office.

Yeah, it wouldn’t have worked with Pryor. Pryor was great and all, but he was a bit too cartoonish and hyper for the role.

President Selfie-Stick strikes again.

The best term I've heard for those is "narcisstick."

I would not exclude veterans or military servicemen from voting, property owners or not. They have obviously served their country and earned the right to vote. My point was we have too many people voting who have no stake at all in this country. They just vote for the politicians and the Party promising the most free stuff, regardless of how it impacts others.

So could have Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.

George H.W. Bush is a testimony to that fact. Al Gore however...

And how do you suppose Joe Biden would do? ;-)
