Ted Cruz challenges Obama to debate Iran Deal
The Hill ^ | 07/28/15 | Wes Jones

Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Monday challenged President Obama to debate the "substance" of the Iran deal.

"Since [Obama's] not willing to discuss the substance, I'll make an invitation right here tonight, which is I will invite President Obama at any time and place of his choosing to debate the substance of the Iran deal," he said on Fox News's "Hannity." "Let's do it in front of the American people."

"If he's unwilling to show up, he can send as a proxy John Kerry," he added.

The 2016 presidential candidate starkly opposes Obama's Iran deal, and said that if it passes through Congress, "the Obama administration will become quite literally the world's leading financier of radical Islamic terrorism."

I love strong opposition to feckless tyranny. Cruz has my vote. Cruz / Fiorina 2016.

Way to go, Mr. Cruz. Call the effeminate imposter to the mat.

We all know 0bama doesn’t have the guts, or knowledge, to have a simple conversation with Cruz, much less a real debate.

Keep the pressure up...who knows?

I Wish he was higher in the POLLS
Nobody can think on his feet and has a better knowledge of whatever subject he is addressing

He was National Debate Champion and would devastate anybody he took on

I find it ironic that we are asked by Obama to trust Iran when they say they will not build a bomb and at the same time are asked not to trust Iran when they say they want to destroy Israel.

The reality of the Obama foreign policy is that we switched sides in the war on terror and the media seem not to notice.

“Obama is a vapour; he has no substance.”

Absolutely true.

Cruz would make Obama look like a babbling fool on national TV. He’d do the same to Biden or Kerry too.

This guy is getting pathetic...You fools are falling for it.

I hope nobody here believes Obama is going to accept the challenge.

If Cruz thinks this will get him somewhere he's a bigger fool than Obama...and showing it.

He's a frigg'n lawyer. Debate, litigate, legislate, introduce go nowhere legislation, write letters and the worst thing he did to himself was try to emulate Trump with the leadership.

Ted Cruz will not be the nominee.

When you’re that far back in the polls, you have to do something to increase your visibility. These kinds of challenges are never accepted.

Geesh. Could you be any more contemptuous and insulting?

..."These kinds of challenges are never accepted"...

Cruz and Trump have come out swinging and it's long, long past time to show that this country is worth "fighting for"...and they are willing to do so, rather than playing with clowns and making fools of themselves....

Or would you prefer this nonsense
