4.3 surprises me. I was just up at the time, and it felt like much less.

We’re in Sierra Madre, east of Pasadena - maybe an hour’s drive from Fontana. We were up/ did not feel it at all.

It woke me up. I didn’t know it was an earthquake. I just thought I heard someone walking around upstairs.

It’s a fair distance from the Bay Area and Fremont so there isn’t likely to be any connection as it isn’t the same section of the fault. However I’m doubtful of any midrange predictions.

The depth of the quake can make a lot of difference in the amount of shaking or rocking you can actually feel.

July 30, 2015 1923 PST: No earthquakes 2.5 or larger in the last 24 hours.

Very odd.
