It was the trade bill......and Sessions (who always does his homework and has fought against illegal immigration for years) was greatly worried about this bill, and was pleading with folks to call their reps and try to stop it.....
This is the bill that gave Obama more power to wheel and deal.
Cruz was for it in a big way......said publicly that Sessions was wrong....I found that very hurtful
Citizens were flooding the phone lines to try to stop it...
Cruz changed his vote and voted against....after he had voted for....
...but some ill feeling has dogged him
....
Now I remember. I liked Cruz but I was troubled when I heard this. I am going to watch him as I will all the others who are on my possible president list including Trump of course.
To help me keep a clear mind, I am making a list of the candidates beginning with the worst. This way I can use the process of elimination until I get to my favorite. Bush is crossed off my list right away along with Lindsey Graham. I don’ t even have to think about them. There are three others that I don’t like.
I want their names!
