Was this hearing on C-Span? If so, we should view it and compile a list of those who were so disinterested that they were disrespectful and call them out by name.
Whoever wrote that headline needs to be slapped.
Government of the elite, by the elite, for the elite.
It has been this way as long as I have been on this earth - longer for sure when you consider the 60s. Things weren’t as insane in the ‘70s and ‘80s, but they were always headed this way. It just occurs at a faster clip now.

The effects of Congressional hearings are mostly marginal. It’s a dog and pony show.....to get camera time and pretend they are still enthusiastic about the job.
No surprise. It was being televised so she should have called them on it. Announced it to all of tv land for Senator X, Senator Y, and Senator Z to please wake up and give a little bit of respect for her child.
While I disagree with not one thing you say, I have come to the realisation the DC Powers That Be have no interest in the average person.
We are only of value to them at election time, when they can lie to us with impunity.
A onetime shaming, even on national television means nothing to a career politician.
This Congress has done more to sour my opinion of the political class than all the two bit hucksters I have encountered in my lifetime.
The Republicans we elected have done nothing they promised they would.
Well, I am madder than ever.
I refuse to sit quietly by.
I am going to get the schedule of my congressman and senator and I am going to attend every public appearance they make.
I will have a list of their votes and I will question every one of them.
I will question what they were doing when these people were addressing them.
Someone is going to get very tired of me.

She should have stopped and said...Senator ______, would you hear me if I said I was donating $1 mil to your campaign?
I hate to tell its because they don’t care. They all want the border open for their own reasons. None of them will lift a finger to do anything about the illegals. None of them.
If you want anything done vote for Trump. He will build a fence just to put his name on it for advertising. Fine with me.

This is a sure sign that they (members of Congress) don’t care & this needs to be used against them literally beat them around the head & shoulders with it every chance you get . Be savagely merciless with them it is the only way to get them to pay attention.
You can see that Louis Gohmert keeps trying but they are tying his hands behind his back. Same thing can be said for Jeff Sessions and Iowa’s Steve King. There are others as well that we could name but Boehner, McConnell and the money powers behind them use there massive campaign contributions as both a carrot and a stick to keep there corrupt people in power.
I stopped donating to the RNC and instead I give my money to the Tea Party, conservative pacs and individual candidates that I like. I hope every conservative does the same. I wonder what percentage of the GOPs money comes from the average donor?

Illegal immigration is the issue that more than any other pulls the mask of false respectability off BOTH parties. The Democrats want the Hispanic 70% Democrat voting block while the Republicans want the cheap labor for their big business contributors. They are both getting their thirty pieces of silver.
