The heirs had better work this out quickly. The last thing anyone wants is their guns sitting in a police warehouse where moisture is not a consideration.
That half million dollar collection could have its value cut in half in no time.

True but if the police dont impound them theives might relieve the heirs of anything to inherit. It's highly likely in this case the "thieves" already have many of the guns. Two things cops love to lose accountability for is large amounts of cash, and guns.
