Freedom loving Cubans weep....
So who occupied the “embassy building” for the last 50 years?
Freegards
LEX
I suppose the morons with Che t-shirts were out in force
Democrats have achieved more since a GOP House and Senate.
Good job GOP.
Yep, GOP is dead to me. We are a one party country and people bash Trump for attacking them?
Thaw or capitulation?
How does this benefit the United States?
There are many ways it benefit’s the Communists in Cuba.
Does the reopened embassy have a gift shop? With a walk-in humidor?
I don’t have a measuring tape, but just from the pictures..
sure looks to me more like it flies “in front of” rather than “over”.
Just in the interest of accuracy.
Hey, I get mad when reporters refer to a truck as a car...
Why is it that, with all this talk of how we should return Gitmo and do other things, nobody ever talks of the billions of dollars of American owned property seized by Cuba after the revolution???
Shouldn’t that subject be part of any bilateral settlement of old claims of harm done by embargoes etc over the decades???
Or is it just a given that a good communist such as Fidel Castro had a right of eminent domain to expropriate foreign owned assets in support of the revolution???

The Cuban Embassy in Washington, DC, is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Cuba to the United States. It is located at 2630 16th Street Northwest, Washington, D.C., in the Adams Morgan neighborhood.
The building was originally constructed in 1917 as the Cuban embassy,[2] and served in that capacity until the United States severed relations with Cuba in 1961.
From the 1970s until 2015, the former Cuban Embassy housed the Cuban Interests Section in the United States. The Cuban Interests Section and its counterpart, the US Interests Section in Havana, were formally sections of the respective Embassies of Switzerland (acting as protecting power), although they operated as embassies independently of the Swiss in virtually all but protocol respects.
On July 1, 2015, US President Barack Obama announced the formal restoration of diplomatic relations between the United States and Cuba. The Cuban Interests Section building will once again serve as the Cuban embassy.
The building resumed its role as the Cuban Embassy in Washington, D.C. on July 20, 2015
Norway's Sexiest Woman was Bitten by a Cuban Diplomat
Hopefully no anti-Castro protesters suffered bite wounds at the Washington event.
My Cuban Father in Law wishes he had passed so he didn’t see communism come to these shores. He weeps for his grand kids. I had a heckuva run and thank Ronald Reagan every day for giving me a blessed run. Hope another Gipper comes around for my boy but it ain’t looking good
Notice that our fearless leader has done everything to favor a communist regime, and an ROP regime. Shows that he loves communism and the ROP more than this country.
“Hey, I get mad when reporters refer to a truck as a car...”
I get mad when they refer to John Boehner as a Republican.
(-:
Leave Bill and Monica out of this!
And Castro wins....congrats Bammy. Another US foreign policy loss.
