BUSH: On our side there are people that prey on peoples fears and their angst as well. I dont know about you, but I think it is wrong. I believe we need to unify our country. We need to stop tearingseparating ourselves by race and ethnicity and income. We need to focus on the things that tie us together. And whether its Donald Trump or Barack Obama their rhetoric of divisiveness is wrong. A Republican will never win by striking fear in peoples hearts. A Republican can win, and will win, if we have an aspirational message that gives people hope that their lives will be better when we apply conservative principles the right way.

Bush just shut up. You are done.
...now that’s just plain funny!
NAILED IT!
Jeb is f*ckking dumb@ss!
And they will, when other people’s money runs out of the system goes bankrupt.
Democrats have 'fear, guilt, lies and empty promises'... nothing more...
When our side tells the truth Bush thinks that's 'fear'? Bush is out of touch with the American people.
Bush is just trying to be the "compassionate conservative" like his father. His father turned out to be not as successful as the "uncompassionate conservative" before him. It's all BS and shows Bush is no conservative.
I worked for this guy and genuinely liked him, but I’m beginning to believe he’s the dumbass the media painted him to be. Not one word of criticism of Obama, but Trump’s going the wrong direction...?
I remember when my blood ran cold when I heard Bush Sr. give the New World order speech to the American people.
This was Jan. 16, 1991, when he announced the coalition would begin military operations in the Gulf War.
This was a televised address to the Nation, and I remember being elated we were finally doing something against Saddam Hussein.
But then, Bush Sr. waxed poetically about the future and “a new world order” and I blanched.
This is 24.5 years ago.
Clinton, Bush the Younger, and Obama would become the engines of this new world order.
And the transformation of America is part of it.
It is so ironic that Bush Sr, said the new world order would be based on the rule of law.

I guess old Bush though the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution was the rule of the jungle?
What a Traitor!
It worked for Lawton Chiles in ‘94 saying Jeb would cut Medicare
Still hoping for a Hillary/Bush presidency JEB?
Reagan did so, by striking fear into the hearts of the enemy.
Everything out of his mouth sounds....well mushy.
Like it’s been run thru the grinder to come out as pure pablum.
Who cares if a Republican wins? To paraphrase a VIP (Very Impotent Person), At this point, what difference does it make.
If a Republican must be castrated to win, America is over.
Jebster is wrong—fear sells—always has. BUT Trump has to ballance it with HOPE—Hope in a new America.
Is this the famous RINO talking?
The Fear is REAL, you A-hole...........
Trump needs to get the fear out of conservatives that he is truly conservative then he has to get the fear out of people that he is a joke and not fit for the presidency. Not an easy task with his personality.
Jeb’s only goal is to say he ran for President. The subsequent payoffs for losing will be worth it.
Interesting sidenote. There was an article about John Jordan and his millions a few day’s ago on here. Jordan was/is a big time contributor to Rove’s Crossroads. There is an interesting “coincidence” at work here. Jeb’s sister Dorothy is married to Bobby Koch. CEO and chief lobbyist of the Wine Institute. A public policy advocacy group representing over 1000 California wineries. Jordan’s millions come from his family’s winery.
