The conclave is the latest sign of budding solidarity between the contenders, who have been friendly for several years...

_____________

The Rino’s hate Trump for bucking the status Que.

For these two to get together is a good thing.

Also, Ted Cruz is NO Rino.

The beginning of planning a debate strategy?

After all, 1 Cruz + 1 Trump = 8 or more other clowns.

Debate prep. Rubio, Bush, Christie, and the moderators are going to try to marginalize both candidates. They need to work together to ensure that doesn’t happen. Don’t think there is anything more to read into it.

nor to me either. I am also intrigued by Carlie Fiona, although concerned if she has connection to the Chamber of Commerce (keepers of the eRino’s)

Trump has been very clear that he’s not going to be a VP candidate.

Trump says Cruz requested the meeting, and he has no idea why.

“Ted Cruz called me. And I don’t know why I’m meeting him, to be honest, but I do have respect for him,” Trump said on “Morning Joe” in a wide-ranging interview in which the Republican presidential contender commented on issues foreign, domestic and everything in between.

Should Trump leave the primary contest at some point, Cruz is also angling for his endorsement or at least lingering goodwill among the conservatives who have rallied to Trump’s side as he has revived the hard-line wing of the GOP on immigration, the Republicans said.

The GOP has a hard line wing on immigration? Really? When did this happen?

The “hard-line wing of the GOP on immigration” can be interpreted two ways.

1. A hard-line on sending the illegals back to where they came from.

2. A hard-line on giving the illegals full citizenship which includes voting rights.

My bet is on #2.

The beginning of planning a debate strategy?

Anyone who isn't cheerleading the Jeb agenda would be better off working it together on stage, I'd think. Otherwise as individuals they'll be marginalized and ignored.

Cruz might be willing to settle for the VP slot. I would hope that he’d resign the VP slot as soon as SCOTUS slot is opened up. Then install Palin as VP.
