We're 13 days into the current FReepathon, and we've managed to raise 13 percent of what we need to survive this quarter.
At this rate, this fundraiser will end 10 days into the NEXT FReepathon.
Really?
One of the top conservative websites on the internet and we can't raise more than 1 per cent per day?
This scares me. Going into the coming election cycle, we need to be well funded, not wondering if we are even going to be around for election night, 2016.
If this doesn't scare YOU, well, it should.
There are enough FReepers here to fully fund each and every FReepathon in less than a week. Yet, it regularly takes more than 2 months to complete a 'Thon. We can't go on like this. It's just too tiring for all involved, especially Jim, John and the crew, who work hard and sleep little.
Let's make a statement,, Freeple. Let's get this one done in ONE MONTH, or less. If you've never made a donation, now would be good. If you think you can do the monthly thing, go for it. Maybe you can do the 300 club. That would be outstanding!
Check your coin jar, look under the couch cushions. Let's make a statement that Free Republic is alive and well and here to stay!

I am a monthly. Just wanted to know if my (and others’) 3x monthly (i.e., over the quarter) contribution was included in the pathetic level of donations. If it is, the donations by others are truly pathetic.
