All I know is that I’m getting damn tired of FReepers calling me a liar then refusing to show me where I lied. Its a simple progressive tactic to shut up opposition but it won’t work with me.
If I were to say that Donald Trump hits his wife that would be a lie and I would have nothing to back it up.
Trump is running as an unabashed economic populist.
Economic populism is the path to power. And power is how the rest of the Conservative agenda gets implemented.
The Tea Party was never better, nor stronger, than when it was an economic populism movement of folks who felt they were taxed enough already.

I don’t like Trump, but he is better than a Bush.
He also fights unapologetically. GOPe types would buckle the first time some media grunt challenges them or calls them a name. You an see their brains burning as they have to think about the right answer. With Trump (and Cruz to some extent) he knows what they believe and doesn’t have to find the weasel words to back away from a media challenge. That’s the difference between being authentic and being a phony.
I know that. I’m gonna have a good time when the Hindenburg explodes, and does so on the merits of his own comments.

No one except trump and Cruz are attempting to take on the DC crime establishment. Maybe Walker will, but how can anyone who is serious about the future of America not like what Trump is saying? Talk is cheap, but if he’s in the running he’s got my vote...conservative or not.
The illegal alien/latino lobby in the GOP is very upset with old Trump. He’s not supposed to be out there stirring the pot.
Trump is a liberal saying what conservatives want to hear. That may or may not be a good thing. But one thing is certain, it does not mean he is no longer a liberal.

Well, thank you! I actually did think of it on my own, then I later discovered it was the name of an obscure local Vermontish NPR-type radio program. Anyway.
Jonah (and many journalists for whom I don’t have even 1/100th the respect I have for Jonah, does not get this theory, that Trump is a media-suck. He’s an irritant, actually. But I don’t say that in a negative way, LOL.
The fact of the matter is:
Trump is serving EXACTLY the function that a once-functioning media once did. Something to ponder. The irony is very appealing.

I doubt he is a liberal. I doubt he has any real political beliefs. I think he is a rich guy who thinks that if he wants to be president he'll be president.

because the GOP has been silent on or actively colluding with Obama against the issues that conservatives are most concerned about.
Now I may disagree with Trump on some things but right now he is the Lightening Rod for Hot Button Issues that need to be in the public discourse. There are a lot of fed up Conservatives, like me, who are tired of the Damn Republican Party. We have been lied to and played, and they have played me for the last time. In toto they are as Corrupt as the Democrats. I love this Spoiler Role that Trump has become. I look forward to the first debate and fireworks that will Explode.
The time that I have for FR has been with the goings on in Waco.
Perhaps it's been done to death, but one image keeps coming when I hear the Donald.
