Dylann Roof apparently had not been arrested for felony a month before he went thru background check

Some news accounts report that Dylan Roof had been arrested for felony drug possession a bit over a month before he bought a gun. Others disagree, saying the arrest was for a misdemeanor. Here’s what FBI Director James Comey said:

On April 11, Roof attempted to purchase a handgun from a store in West Columbia, South Carolina, a near suburb of Columbia. That day was a Saturday. On the next business day, April 13, an examiner in our West Virginia facility was assigned the case and began to process it.

Her initial check of Roof’s criminal history showed that he had been arrested in South Carolina March 1 on a felony drug charge. This charge alone is not enough to deny proceeding with the transaction. As a result, this charge required further inquiry of two potential reasons to deny the transaction. First, the person could have been convicted of a felony since the arrest. Second, the underlying facts of the arrest could show the person to be an unlawful drug user or addict.

So had Roof been arrested on a felony drug charge or not? I did some digging about that, and about federal drug law more generally, and here are my tentative conclusions....

Weird headline. He was arrested for a felony a month? He hadn’t been arrested for a month for a felony?

So those 9 people would still be alive if Dylan had just failed his background check?

Yeah, ‘cause you can’t steal, borrow or buy a gun off the street. Like from a federal agent...

Still, would he not have been in jail if not out on bond? He was also banned from a shopping mall due to his strange behavior. Would that show up in a background check?

If all drugs are legalized such crimes wouldn’t qualify as felonies. Also, if he was related to Willie Nelson he could travel with sufficient quantities of several illicit substances to qualify as an interstate trafficker and still walk.

Those 9 people might still be alive in the Charleston church had not been a “Gun Free Zone” and if a church member was carrying concealed.

WHY THE REGIME PICKED ON THE CONFEDERATE BATTLE FLAG AND NOT ROOF’S MANIFESTO

Because it was under threat of questioning and possible impeachment proceedings by its so called political opposition the regime needed to defer or stop any movement toward this. It was necessary to use a political device usually atrributed to Saul Alinsky but used by the nazi and commie’s like Stalin with the “Kulacks” through racial division.

Thtough the use of the “Bully Pulpit” It created persons engaged in felonious assults on authority who were black youths into; “Victims of an evil society” (thus approving their actions) out of whole cloth.

The regime began with the Zimmerman case which resulted in a series of assults by black youths on completely innocent whites,”hispanics”, and asians who were either targeted or wandered near or through black gang infested areas. The perpetators excuse; The reported “cold blood killing of Treyvon Martin because he was black”

It led to a score or more deaths and serious injuries which were treated as local news ignored and forgotten. And it was met with silence while this was happening. Neither the locqatious POTUS or his political opposition uttered as much as a “Now!,Now! or a “tsk!,tsk!”.

Those killings were referenced by the Charleston Church massacre perpetrator in his crazed manifesto.

Naturally when it was discovered that mention of those score of murders were used in this nut cases’s “manifesto” the reaction was....“Well we can’t let that out.

Oh ! His face book has him holding a Confederate battle flag, (Which to many is simply an ensign of protest and rebellion), that must be his excuse “The Confederates made him do this horrible act ! Let’s get them !” Well they’re doing a good job of perverting what that battle flag’s represents at the same time ignoring the regimes complicity in engendering those previous racial incidents.
