Two of the better-funded GOP candidates for president Sen. Ted Cruz and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush have sought and received extra time to file mandatory personal financial disclosure statements.
Both wrote the Federal Election Commission last week seeking a 45-day extension so they wouldnt have to file the forms by June 30.

Trump did not apply for any waivers.
Trump will file, on schedule, this week.
Trump mentioned Bush not filing on time yesterday.
It is funny the FEC “needs” to see how much money candidates have, but doesn’t care if they knowingly take foreign money for their campaigns (Obama).
Trumps portfolio would be complicated one would think.
It occurred to me while looking at the long list of books he has authored that the royalty check from them would be quite substancial
I was thinking, the candidate who files on time is much more likely to get my vote!
How many people here would be saying, ‘see, see? Trump’s not going to run...he’s just a clown...see, see?’
So let’s hear all those come here and blast Cruz and Bush for filing for an extension. Let’s see you post that Cruz and Bush don’t have the money they say they have - see? They’re lying!
I’m a Cruz supporter, but this stinks. Why don’t they all file for extensions?
The large field of Republican presidential hopefuls jockeying to make the cut for the first 2016 debate will have to file a public disclosure of their personal finances on time to participate

...How’s this working???....
And where are the Trump detractors to hector Cruz and Jebbie for failing to file promptly? We've heard for weeks how sinister it is that Trump did not file the second he declared.
Trump, being the successful business man he is, no doubt has already foreseen this and planned accordingly.
He’s probably had accountants and lawyers on this for months already.
It may be the reason he didn’t throw his hat in the ring last time. Now he’s had four years to prepare
Yes.
I wondered about that.
I also wondered today if that long ago pizza date with Sarah Palin was some kind of early strategy session.
Can you imagine how the heads would explode if he had Palin as VP?
Well then again, maybe not. VP Palin has been floated already by McShame. I see DT doing something completely different like maybe Allen West...
I’m really disappointed in Ted Cruz filing for an extension. He’s been pretty much in the public sector all his working life. How complicated can it be to file his finances?
How complicated can it be to file his finances?
**************
It includes more than just salary. It can get more complicated if you have
bits and pieces of various business dealings, etc. Who knows what all it entails.
Trump’s for sure ought to be very complicated. jmo
Clearly Trump is not serious about all this but Bush and Cruz are the ones with gravitas. Seems Trump has a well oiled machine that crushes everything in its wake. People are underestimating Trump at their peril.
If your wife is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and runs the Houston Wealth Management Unit, I imagine that it can be very complicated indeed.
Perhaps the difficulty is his wife’s work in big finance.
Yes, that's what Fox and RNC have said. We'll see if they follow through or if they were just lying.
So how come Trump is able to file his on time?
