Trump is playing his cards Right (Saturbray)

Acts 7:22 And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.

All the professional prognosticators are dismissing The Donald’s chances of winning the nomination. These same people were the first to call him a clown and every other demeaning term to prove their sanctimony and knowledge even though the only thing they exceed in every election is picking the wrong winner. The one thing the echo chamber will never do is go against the group think and predict something as outrageous as the two left standing at the end will be Trump and Cruz which would be a winning team against whoever beats Hillary for the Democommunist’s nomination.

Over the past five elections I have had a much better than average prediction string. I have correctly predicted all of the past four presidential elections and accurately predicted the midterms when everyone else was saying the Dems would hold the House and Senate. The only one that surprised me was I thought that Palin would pull enough votes to overcome McCain’s obvious weakness of occasionally crossing the aisle to help the Repubs. I predicted Romney’s defeat before he won the nomination since he was the classic Repub managed campaign which requires losing with grace which he did marvelously.

The establishment is using the old playbook which is heavy on debates and commercials with perfectly managed candidates trained in the art of well parted hair and equally well parsed words. As they say in backrooms you say one thing to one group and say something just the opposite to the next. This is supposed to get you voters from both and make sure you are one onion skin away from the Democrat to get all of those all important independent votes. What none of the so called experts get is in the age of channel changers and internet, none of their formulas come close to working and in most evaluations cost the candidate votes rather than gain them.

Donald Trump and Cruz are doing exactly what you should do to get those independent voters and win the election during the actual vote. Cruz is slightly ahead of Trump in the all important, Get Out The Vote ground game around the country, but Trump is leading in the leadership and moving to the Right. Whether he planned on hitting the immigration issue as hard as he did or it came by accident from excessive backlash, we found that these issues will go across Party lines and will get you the excitement managed candidates never receive.

Our group knocked around 100,000 doors over the past decade in a slightly heavier Democrat area and won 10 of 12 elections using techniques that were frowned upon by the professional managers or as we called them, Democrat spies. We had cases where we were ordered not to knock doors even though we found it was around 20 times more effective than phone calls which we were ordered to do by those managers. The ground game is key to winning and targeted voters are the key to maximizing your efforts. Why would anyone knock a Democrat or liberal door when 100 out of 100 times they are going to vote for their team, when you can go to one of your leaners or Republicans and get an actual vote?

What we found in all those doors are people and especially Repubs are tired of say nothing candidates. The ones who are the most tired of them is the young people who want to see some passion rather than a candidate that says jobs, jobs, jobs and balance the budgzzzzzzzzzz. This is where Trump is hitting it out of the park and if he learns how to do the GOTV effectively will win this primary.

If you look at the latest numbers you will find something all of the professionals are missing or ignoring. He is doing extremely well with young voters. Whether it is because he is a celebrity candidate or he is taking the battle to the media with passion and no apologies, he is reaching the young and independents in record numbers. He is also reaching the conservative Hispanic voters who are just as upset that they earned their citizenship the right way rather than the way Mexicans are coming across now. They don’t like these illegals coming across and taking their jobs and bringing the drugs and violence with them. Many of them are far more conservative than the media gives them credit and Trump is cutting through the media filters and reaching people directly.

Donald Trump has so many talents in charisma, being articulate, fame and in this case one of the biggest, wealth. He does not have to listen to managers and money men who will tell him how and what to say who would have stopped this discussion days after it started. If he were begging for millions like the other candidates he would have gotten a call from a donor threatening to cut off funding and would have heard an apology from the candidate and nothing more would have been said. Rather, we see Trump doubling down and saying what most of hardworking Americans are thinking and is resonating far deeper than anyone is realizing. He is reaching the young voters and union rank and file as well as cleaning house with independents looking for leadership.

Americans and especially the youts are tired of living on pins and needles from political correctness and the Donald came in like a bull in a china shop and broke everything in sight. He did not intend to do it at first, but when he made one comment on immigration and criminals are crossing our border it sent the PC bullies into a frenzy and he did the unthinkable; he fought back. Not only did he fight back, but with the murder and heartbreaking story of Kate Steinle, he was proved right. Just when the PC establishment was trying to prove him to be an ignorant racist an American is killed by a Mexican criminal just like Trump said. He was right and everyone knows it happens every day in America and they also know it is being done so the Marxists can stuff the ballot box and maintain power while Americans pay.

Trump and Cruz are the establishment’s worst nightmare. They are both doing exactly what they should be doing for their respective campaigns. Trump needs to learn and exploit a ground game, but with his following and Tea Party support it should begin to build through passion and hiring the right GOTV experts. Cruz needs to get out a bit more with some passion, but he is focusing on that ground game and targeted voter identification like he did in Texas and should do very well in actual votes. His fundraising gives him a leg up on accomplishing that goal.

Those braindead talking heads will be dismissing Trump all the way since he is not their idea of a perfect candidate. He is doing everything they are taught not to do and the people are loving it. The mediots have no concept or understanding since they have been taught by the same people who trained our inept campaign managers. These people are either incompetent or spies, but either way accomplish the same results. Trump is going around all of them and using his gut and a very talented and competent team that is going to surprise a lot of people. Many of us are not surprised and have been looking for this type of candidate for decades, he is not perfect on all of the issues but he is showing perfection on how to articulate a few issues and how to fight against a lying media. We haven’t seen that in decades and for most of America that breeze blows cool and moist.

Pray America is waking

We will see. For me, he has an uphil battle to convince me that he is also “conservative” on social issues like abortion. Sorry, but one thing I can say now with conviction: I will never vote for a mere “fiscal conservative”. If we don’t get this country back on a path that fears God, all the “fiscal conservatism” in the world will not save us. Only He can save us now.

Agreed, but if you grow up in the belly of the beast you know how to defeat it. Same with growing up in Oregon, we learned how to beat them at their own game.

Iron sharpens iron. In a way its good that Trump is facing the fire from all angles. Let enough leftists and lying media trash him and smear him.
If he wins the election he will be much more cemented in conservative values via baptism by fire IMO. Go The Donald.

I think Trump is playing it about right on abortion.

I am a Catholic and I firmly believe that life starts at conception. In that respect I believe that the “Pill”, IUD’s and of course day after pills all have the potential to end a life.

In cases of incest or rape or the life of the mother are also the worst kind of sin.

That said, abortion rates are going down now and that’s a good thing. We need to accept small victories. We are not going to outlaw birth control and the life of the mother or rape part. People are not going to vote for a candidate that espouses that. Period... No mater what you or I may believe.

Not bad. Are you a truthful journalist or an Oregon logger—is there a difference?

While I have my concerns about Trumps positions I would fully back Trump/Cruz ,,, Trump can have the glory while Cruz would be the apprentice doing all the actual work. Trump is smart enough to let a real expert like Cruz do the heavy lifting... Trump doesn’t swing hammers in his NYC condo’s and he won’t accept less than the best working for him as long as he gets the glory. Cruz just wants to fix the USA/Constitution ... SEND IN THE CLOWN! I WANT THE CLOWN.

Trump certainly has brought a breath of fresh air into the battle. I’m not a Trump fan, but it will push the real candidates into a battle for real conservative values on ILLEGALS.

I agree with a lot of what you said, though I personally won’t use the word clown.

I know that I personally started out very critical of Trump, and posted my criticisms here in FR, during a time-frame of 2-4 months ago.

But Trump won me over. And now, for the first tome since great leader descended from leftist heaven into the White House, I am feeling a political emotion other than deep depression.

In fact, I would have to say, I am feeling some actual exuberance. I almost don’t recognize the feeling.

I meant Dear Leader.

Of course he’s also our great leader but we must never forget to call him Dear Leader, to whom no laws apply.

Well said.

Between Cruz and Trump, I'm actually starting to cheer up. Between the two of them, they make me smile.

I don't know if Trump would make a good president, but watching him wade into the midst of 'em swinging his battle-ax, is sweet indeed.

Good synopsis of what I believe is happening. I said Trump would suck all the air out of the room and he has. Nobody is even reporting on the other GOP candidates except for Cruz who was smart enough to tie his wagon to Trump’s star and get a ride along. Now Cruz has his book feud going and is getting some press of his own. Everybody else not so much.
