Someone needs to restate the sequence of events surrounding his getting the pistol. I thought I understood that he didn’t buy it himself, so in that context, I am wondering the relevance of the BG check. Does anyone have better information?
I read he DID Buy it himself with Money given to him by his Family for his Birthday.
From what I understand, he was given money for his birthday, which he then used to purchase the gun. His father did not buy the gun for him, and claims he did not know how he spent the money.
The Director, in my opinion, is lying at worst, stretching the interpretation at best.
