He didn’t attend the wedding from what I see, only the reception.

As for the other, some friend said this. The actions seem to speak different, he withdrew from a Church that became liberal on the issue and so on.

As an individual, I can overlook his misjudgment. It is a hard situation to be in. But as a politician he has shown weakness on this issue in other ways, too.

For me, even at a reception you are likely to get an eyeful of way too much affection. That grosses me out.

I would also ask if he brought his family, especially kids.

But the reception is the *celebration* of the “marriage”.

To attend the reception and celebrate the sinful event is, in my eyes, the same as participating in the event itself.

This is my opinion, others may think differently.
