This is like dropping a bomb at a tea party.

EVEERYONE is asking, what the hell is that?

What the HELL is that?

Against all odds, Trump is the front runner for the nomination and POTUS.

A lot of movement for only 3 weeks from the start of his campaign.

It is Rubio and Bush who have lost ground to Trump.

Yep those two are the ones cratering.

President H. W. Bush in 1991 said about a particularly mouthy politician, “he’s an insincere charlatan.”

That is an apt description of Trump. However, he has a real chance to break the back of the GOP establishment. I would enjoy seeing the GOP establishment in sack cloth and ashes. It makes my hands tremble just thinking of it.

Awww come on man, be honest....if Ted Cruz was leading the polls, you would be very happy, and would NEVER say “these polls do not mean squat”.

Should Cruz rise in polls to the top within next month or two, I will be looking for your posts saying “these polls do not mean squat”.

Coming from someone who single-handedly derailed the Reagan revolution, I’d consider that an endorsement for Trump.

Spot on comment.

The number one responsibility of Government is to grantee the States a Republican form of Government and protect them from invasion. Our Government has failed in this as well as other areas miserably. This should be pointed out relentlessly.

I agree. What concerns me is that this attack on Trump (because of his words and opinions) which is practically cheered by many in the republican establishment can be very dangerous.

Who’s next to be attacked and pulled? Rush Limbaugh? Mark Levin? Will the US government pull conservative talk radio from the AM radio bands?

Anybody (no matter who they support in the primaries, left or right, democrat or republican) should never cheer what’s happening to Donald Trump because of his opinions. They should be standing behind him on this matter.

Yes, Macy’s, Univision, NBC may have a right to drop him (depending on contract agreements) but the FAA (that’s a whole different story).

When I talk of those cheering Im not referring to FreeRepublic user but the talking heads such as Karl Rove and others like him we see on TV

That may be true at the moment because right now polls are sampling name recognition more than actual support.

But in the end it will come down to Bush vs a conservative alternative just as 2012 came down to Romney vs a conservative alternative. The difference is this time was have several viable conservative alternatives and are pissed off and smarter than we were in 2012.

As long as Trump implodes (which he should), The Huckster crashes and burns, and Carson is exposed as an amateur everything will fall into place for Cruz or Walker, either of which I support, and worse case we end up with Rubio, which is at least palatable compared to McCain.

What will be your explanation if Trump does NOT implode before the convention?

Trump is eating up the liberals and spitting them out on this illegal issue. This wont be the issue that takes him down, but I expect something else he says some other day will be or something that is dug up on him will be his doom.

I totally agree.

No candidate backed by the gop establishment has a chance against Hildebeast.

But Trump can and will beat her!
By a mile!

My explanation will be that the Democrats held back the dirt they have on him (and I am guessing it’s a mountain of dirt) knowing they can torpedo him anytime they want if he somehow got the nomination.

Think about it.... Trump must have more dead prostitutes in his closet (among other things) than anyone who’s ever run for president.

The proof is, all GOPe candidates are saying the same exact thing in attacking Trump. At least they could be a bit more creative.

This wont be the issue that takes him down

I agree 100% with that. But it’s the fact that there are those within the party and within the US Government (example FAA) who go as far as attempt to bring him down because of his opinions that should be of great concern.

We should never throw Freedom of Speech out the window along with the opponent of our own preferred candidate

“At the moment”

Is all all we have to work with for the moment.

When more polls begin to come out, I bet you will see that Trumps
higher poll numbers will also come at the expense of Rubio and Bush.

If Your scenario is correct, how does that hurt Cruz now?

The attacks now generated at Trump would be aimed at Cruz if Trump
were not in the race.
Would you prefer Cruz take the arrows now or Trump?

If the lefties prefer Trump as the nominee, why are they attacking Trump right now? I have seen not a single lefty media praise Trump. You are not making any logical sense. You just hate Trump, and are trying to convince yourself he will implode.
