I was Patrolling the Mojave the other day and heard this on the Radio.

"Unconfirmed reports say NCR's general Lee Oliver may have uprooted from his post at Camp McCarran in order to be present at Hoover Dam. NCR sources have said that holding the dam against Caesar's Legion has become their main strategic priority and this move would not be unexpected."

One reason the Feds are stockpiling ammunition is to remove it from the market. At the same time they are enacting new regulations to make ammunition more expensive to manufacture and sell.

I can tolerate this one, because Hoover Dam is a huge strategic target, not just for terrorists, but for foreign powers. Knocking it out would put five western states in immediate water crisis, as well as possibly crashing a big part of the western power grid. Annual power generation 4.2 billion kWh.
