Trump mocks Bush over Common Core, immigration
The Hill ^ | 7/7/15 | Jonathan Easley

Donald Trump ratcheted up the war of words with Jeb Bush on Tuesday, calling the former Florida governor’s support for Common Core education standards “pathetic” and his stance on immigration “baby stuff.”

In an interview on Fox News Channel’s “On the Record,” Trump was asked whether he’d consider running as an independent if he didn’t win the Republican nomination. Trump responded that he believed he’d do well running a third-party candidacy but his intent right now is to run as a Republican.

“I will say that I love the Republican Party [but] I think they’re making tremendous mistakes,” Trump said. “I think they’re far too weak on immigration, I think they’re weak on a lot of things.”

“I watched Jeb Bush,” he continued. “I think it’s pathetic what’s going on, his stance on Common Core. He’s in favor of Washington educating your children. His weak stance on immigration — he said it’s an act of love. I mean what kind of stuff is that? It’s baby stuff.”

I have never liked Donald Trump.

I’m loving how he’s exposing Yeb Bush as the Democrat in an R jersey that he is.

Don Trump is puckering RINO spinchters across the land.

He is defining these guys in the public mind and they will not be able to shake the image off, regardless of what happens to Trump's campaign.

So now, Trump owns the issues of the invasion of the US and Common Core! And Jeb is defending the forces of evil.

YES!!!

(also notice Trump's wording. He isn't saying no to a third-party run)

Jebbie Bush is coming to Louisiana Saturday for a big fund-raiser in Jindal’s backyard! So many still like a Bush, but no one knows why.

Anyone who supports illegal “immigration” should be mocked. And often!

Jebbie “Bubble Boy” Bush must be chewing hard on his pacifier. The “baby stuff” description of Bush's positions is hilarious!

Have we ever had a third party President? If not, I think Trump could be the first. For every uber liberal socialist Democrat there are two who hate illegal immigration and are tired of jobs being outsourced. I can see Trump having broad appeal across Party lines.

One more thing. If the GOPe forces another moderate skunk into the nomination, there will be a huge outcry for Trump to run third party and I think he will.

He is saying that to scare the crap out of them. He just did a 2A interview for Ammoland. He sounds fine on that too-check. It leaves him with the Kelo/private property as his main baggage.

Trump is setting himself up to be #1 in the polls right before the Fox News debate in a few weeks.

Trump can’t run as a 3rd party. The House GOP would select Bush.

Trump can pull a Perot. All he needs is enough signatures to get on the ballots.
