Donald Trump ratcheted up the war of words with Jeb Bush on Tuesday, calling the former Florida governors support for Common Core education standards pathetic and his stance on immigration baby stuff.
In an interview on Fox News Channels On the Record, Trump was asked whether hed consider running as an independent if he didnt win the Republican nomination. Trump responded that he believed hed do well running a third-party candidacy but his intent right now is to run as a Republican.
I will say that I love the Republican Party [but] I think theyre making tremendous mistakes, Trump said. I think theyre far too weak on immigration, I think theyre weak on a lot of things.
I watched Jeb Bush, he continued. I think its pathetic whats going on, his stance on Common Core. Hes in favor of Washington educating your children. His weak stance on immigration he said its an act of love. I mean what kind of stuff is that? Its baby stuff.

I have never liked Donald Trump.
I’m loving how he’s exposing Yeb Bush as the Democrat in an R jersey that he is.
He is defining these guys in the public mind and they will not be able to shake the image off, regardless of what happens to Trump's campaign.
The fella must be devastated.
YES!!!
(also notice Trump's wording. He isn't saying no to a third-party run)
Using some Alinsky tactics as Trump is works for me.
Baby stuff?!?! Hhahhahahaha
Jebbie Bush is coming to Louisiana Saturday for a big fund-raiser in Jindal’s backyard! So many still like a Bush, but no one knows why.
Anyone who supports illegal “immigration” should be mocked. And often!
Yeb had a meeting with Bishop Romney in Kennebunkport just after the sleepover with Mitt that NJFatBoy and Rubberio attended.
They all have their marching orders from The Cheap Labor Express.
Have we ever had a third party President? If not, I think Trump could be the first. For every uber liberal socialist Democrat there are two who hate illegal immigration and are tired of jobs being outsourced. I can see Trump having broad appeal across Party lines.
One more thing. If the GOPe forces another moderate skunk into the nomination, there will be a huge outcry for Trump to run third party and I think he will.
He is saying that to scare the crap out of them. He just did a 2A interview for Ammoland. He sounds fine on that too-check. It leaves him with the Kelo/private property as his main baggage.
Trump threat to the GOP-e about a 3rd party run was very clear last night. Very smart threat on his end.
Trump is setting himself up to be #1 in the polls right before the Fox News debate in a few weeks.
Trump can’t run as a 3rd party. The House GOP would select Bush.
Trump can pull a Perot. All he needs is enough signatures to get on the ballots.
