Paging Ted Cruz. Paging All the Candidates. Take on the Vichy Republicans.

Marshal Pétain came to power to make peace with Nazi Germany. Somewhere along the way, he no doubt resigned himself to Nazi occupation and muttered “we can now move on to the important things.”

He has a kindred spirit in John Feehery, who has spent his career in Washington climbing the ladder. He started with Bob Michel, the man who never met a surrender he didn’t want to make love to. Feehery then moved to Tom DeLay before winding up with alleged kid-diddler Denny Hastert. After Hastert’s first fall from grace, Feehery went into the private sector where, for a price, any organization can do to Feehery what Jim Henson did to the muppets and make Feehery sing their song.

His song has mostly been of the big government variety. He’s bashed Rush Limbaugh. He’s bashed the tea party. He’s bashed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 100%. He’s bashed virtually any conservative who might actually shrink government.

He supported Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey in Pennsylvania because Toomey could never win. “Likewise he supported Charlie Crist as being “more electable” than Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) 90%. In 2012, while Mitt Romney was running up margins of+19 in North Dakota and +14 in Montana, the “electable” Rick Berg and Danny Rehberg lost by -1 and -4 respectively.” (Source)

Feehery, you should know, also helped Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) 62% as Scalise transitioned into the Whip’s office.

Now, he wants you to know, that the Republicans actually won big in the Supreme Court by losing. That’s right. The GOP should thank its lucky stars that the Supreme Court kept Obamacare intact and imposed gay marriage on the nation because now the GOP can move on to what really matters — those things John Feehery’s clients care about, no doubt.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 100% gave a speech at the Heritage Foundation a few weeks ago in which he lambasted the “Washington Cartel” of reporters, lobbyists, and politicians who are far more interested in their own interests than the nation’s. It is a message that resonates on a bipartisan basis. The Wall Street Journal giving John Feehery space to claim a victory by losing is just another example of the Washington Cartel at work.

It is also something all the candidates, not just Cruz, should focus on.

. . . the Republicans actually won big in the Supreme Court by losing.

George Will, token conservative to the Washington Post and New York Times made the same idiotic argument.

Vichy Republicans—Worse than RINOs Only a handful of real GOP are left and they are under fre. Lee, Cruz, maybe Trump stand on the same high ground as Reagan did. A new Movement should start within the GOP—the Tea Party was only the start—Sons of Liberty. We must look into our past to re-brand and restore the GOP. The Elites must be pushed out and a rebirth started. That or we go the same direction as UKIP in England. USIP. At this point—if Cruz, Lee, Trump, Palin walked out of the Republican Party to a new 3rd Party—I would follow. I thought I never would say that.

Don’t forget Jeff Sessions. He still stands firm. I’m writing his name in if they try to shove another RINO down our throats. The sight of Republicans falling all over themselves to bash Trump on immigration and dissing the battle flag did it for me. The last call I had from the RNC occurred on the day my slime weasel governor (Alabama) snuck out and pulled down the flags. A friend that was here was shocked that this mild mannered older Southern lady could tell someone off like that. No more Rinos for me!

"if Cruz, Lee, Trump, Palin walked out of the Republican Party to a new 3rd Party"

If Cruz is rejected from the debates or should lose the primary then he absolutely should start a 3rd Party, because if Cruz loses the Primary it will be Bush, at that point we all will need a candidate and a Party to vote for, we need an opposition Party to the RepubliCrat uniparty.  I think Cruz is bold enough to do that with some encouragement from "We The People", I think the numbers would be astounding breaking the morale of the Uniparty aka The Enemy Within and send them into panic mode greatly exposing their phony one party system.

Then we can see that the Republicans and Democrats are NOT to big to fail...

They could bring these traitors to heel quite simply by withdrawing from the party enough members to put Boehner and Mitch into minority status, then they could have real power. They won't but they could.
