Jul 6, 2015 Jeb Bush’s Parents Expected to Be Special Guests at Dinner With Top Donors

By BETH REINHARD

Former President George H.W. Bush and former first lady Barbara Bush are expected to be the “special guests” at a dinner Thursday in Kennebunkport, Maine, with top donors to their son’s presidential campaign.

Donors who raised at least $27,000 in the 15 days between Jeb Bush‘s presidential campaign announcement and June 30, the end of the Federal Election Commission’s fundraising quarter, were invited to the “27 in Fifteen” retreat.

That fundraising push was the first by Mr. Bush’s team to focus on bundling campaign donations of a maximum of $2,700 per person. Mr. Bush previously spent months raising unlimited sums for his Right to Rise super PAC. Both the campaign and super PAC are likely to announce their fundraising totals as early as this week.

Donors are invited Friday morning to a briefing with Mr. Bush and senior staff including senior adviser Sally Bradshaw, campaign manager Danny Diaz, national finance chairman Woody Johnson, New Hampshire strategist Rich Killion, senior strategist David Kochel, national finance director Heather Larrison, national finance co-chairman Jack Oliver and general counsel Megan Sowards.

Jeb, “But daddy, W got to be president. I want to be president too.”

I don’t have much respect for the Bush family. They need to go away. They have done enough damage already.

There seems something wrong with a former President of the United States being described as somebody’s parent in a headline.

Jeb must be having trouble raising that $100 million by
pulling his parents out of the nursing home to raise money.

I mean they are his parents after all. Wouldn’t your parents support your endeavors? I mean I know some people have crappy parents but it seems like they want to support their child. I don’t get the negativity on this at all. Do you criticize all parents who go to their kid’s functions?

Jeb Bush murdered Terri Schiavo. The Bushes have been a crime family since before 1900. It’s time for the Republican Party to throw off this infection. Read FAMILY OF SECRETS by Russ Baker.

Yeah but we are not talking about parents watching their son play little league baseball. After all, Jeb Bush is 62 years old, lol.

They might as well. I thought GWB was ok, but I was reading an article about Yale's skull and bones. It's definitely occultic and/or Masonic in origin. Anybody claiming to be a Christian should renounce it and never look back imo.

It's very powerful. GWB had about 8 Bonesmen in his cabinet, but not all were named.

I repent of having voted for any of the Bushes for multiple reasons.

Well most don’t have parents at 62. Most parents are dead and buried by that age which is why this is so rare.

Thanks. I'll have a look. I decided to read the article again and much of the material came from 60 Minutes via Alexandra Robbins (Yale grad a little more re her at link) and a Ron Rosenbaum (interviewed by 60 Minutes).

And I apologize, there were five fellow Bonesmen appointed to positions by GWB.
