Jonathan Cahn, the Bible teacher and author who started warning nine years ago that America was facing the judgment of God if it did not reject secularism and return to its Judeo-Christian roots, says the June 26 Supreme Court ruling that legalized gay marriage in all 50 states marks the formal end to Christian America.
Barring a “miracle of God,” the die has been cast, said the author of “The Harbinger” and “The Mystery of the Shemitah.”
Cahn, speaking at the annual Messiah Conference at Messiah College in Pennsylvania on America’s Independence Day, said the U.S. and the world are undergoing “tectonic shifts” in terms of attitudes and beliefs.
Even those who consider themselves “Christian” will continue to stray from right doctrine, he said, choosing instead to blend in with the ways of Western culture.
He said the world has entered what the apostle Paul called the “falling away” or the apostasy. This period, which marks the beginning of the “end of the age” and the soon return of Jesus Christ, will be similar to the period at the beginning of the age, when pagan Rome viciously persecuted the followers of Jesus.
But just as the early Church in the Book of Acts was marked by its “dynamic, revolutionary, counter-culture faith,” the last-days remnant that refuses to conform to the decaying moral structure of modern culture will also be marked by these same dynamic characteristics.
“At the beginning it was a revolutionary, radical, underground, counter-culture and Jewish faith. It was for all people but Jewish. As it moved away (from Jerusalem) the Jewish leadership vanished. And the more this faith became imbedded in Western culture, in world culture, the more this faith lost its identity,” he said.

Cahn is one of the most courageous people in America today (and a modern day prophet who is calling our the Truth). Franklin Graham, Anne Graham Lotz, Ravi Zacharias are others. But, they are very few.
I greatly fear what is coming.
I am an Old Testament Christian - prayers sometimes are not enough.
I think it started several years ago.
Let the antichristians laugh it up.
They’re gonna get the world they hoped for.
Hope they enjoy it.
It’s only the end if we let it be.
They wouldn’t have stopped fighting if the court found for states rights, why should we?

“The Harbinger” is an amazing book. God has been sending messages to us for a long time, and we as a country seem bent on rejecting those warnings. There are those who think they know better than God. The day will come when they find out how wrong they are, and it will be a day of weeping.

The states ignore federal immigration laws. They ignore federal drug laws. So why not just ignore homo laws? Hasn’t the states rights president already been set by these other two issues?
I’ve read “The Harbinger”. I highly recommend it. A very eye opening book that all Christians need to ponder.
Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus! That should be the morning and evening prayer of all Christians. What a glorious day for His followers when Jesus appears in the clouds, just as He promised!
The entire County Clerks Office in Decatur County Tennessee, next county from where I live, resigned over the SCOTUS ruling. We had special prayer for them in our church Sunday and are reaching out to aid them in any way we can. That took courage.
As the Good Book says, “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”
The last few decades, the churches have been so intent on preaching a “Jesus is my Buddy” and “God Wuvs You” gospel that people don’t understand that there is a reason Jesus died on the cross, which was to save people who believed in Him from the wrath of His Father. As a perectly just, perfectly righteous God, He will not withhold His hand from meting out justice forever.
I can’t imagine anything more like giving God the middle finger than bathing the capitol of your country in the symbol of what God says is an abomination and leads (and has led, in the case of Sodom and Gomorrah) to total destruction.
I have a lot of respect for Rabbi Cahn. I have read both his books and listened to quite a few of his speeches. His arguments are very compelling. I don’t believe we have much longer to wait for the collapse...indeed, I have viewed the past year as a collapsing of this nation.
That may be so however Christians will win in the end
Instead of people resigning, a few counties in Alabama just said that they no longer issue marriage licenses.
I am sure some sleazy lawyers will soon challenge those counties.
The thing that has made me the most aggravated was how Hussein Obama fudged when asked about gay “marriage” prior to first being elected President. He flat out bleated out what he thought would get him elected. If he’d told the truth about it; he most likely would not have been elected. (I didn’t vote for him either time; for what good it did.)

I wonder what happens if no one is willing to serve as clerk and issue those marriage licenses?
It is frankly unbelievably shocking that a president would go so out of his way to insult much of America the way he did with that gesture. And frankly, I was wondering what sort of orgy was going on in there that night.
