A video surfaced Thursday of an NYPD officer using force to protect his female partner from a hostile-suspect resisting arrest.

What this video showed me is that the female diversity partner to this officer was of no use whatsoever in the confrontation. She has no business being on the police force.
“=”.
I think they should have tazered the cameraman...just for the hell of it.
I used to listen to Tales of the Texas Rangers on Xm radio. I became curious about the stories and was able to find a few of the actual accounts upon which the radio stories were based. Yes, these guys on their own or with the assistance of a local sheriff went after some really bad people, often small gangs. Same thing with Dragnet and some of the other old stories. Cops used to get the bad guys without huge numbers of cops or large militarized SWAT teams. What has changed? Are the majority of the cops less tough than the old guys (the make cop in this video did not seem intimidated)? Are the bad guys more belligerent and tougher than the old variety? Is it a combination?
Sounds like there is a parrot on the scene:
“I got everything on Camera” said repeatedly throughout the filming.
Does Polly want a Cracker?
I agree, he sounds like darn parrot.
“I got everything”
The level of conversation did NOT get too high.
All 5 ft of her was totally useless as was the female blubber backup. They let the big guys do their jobs. They don’t belong on the force.
Gee.... I thought it was against the law to use the ‘n-word’.
If he had a real partner who could do the job of helping to subdue this person, it wouldn’t have gone on for so long and become another tool to foment trouble in the black community. She actually endangered the life of her partner in my opinion. Anyone can see that. He took risks that were unnecessary and against clear procedure as I’d envision it.
Are the majority of the cops less tough than the old guys (the make cop in this video did not seem intimidated)? Are the bad guys more belligerent and tougher than the old variety? Is it a combination?....A little of each since the’80’s. Cops are afraid of being sued and singled out as being “non-trained and the bad guys just don’t give a shiite about authority, life or anything. I met a guy I sent to prison for a loooooong time before I got out of copping and he said (after his third trip to the BIG House) he was going straight and could I help him get a job? He told me the prison system wasn’t like it was in the 60’s, 70’s and you could get killed just to make the killer look tough to rest of the population. Prison guards have been attacked by the new generation of ferals in order to get “cred” for killing a Bull. They KNOW nothing will happen to them and don’t let death register in their miniscule minds.
Only if you are NON- Nig...excuse me ..colored. Poopy, I still used the “N” word, NON.
i dont know what was tighter...her jeans or her pony tail...ridiculous. Why wouldnt they use pepper spray or tazer??...also, why wasnt that camerman arrested for disordrly conduct?.
she finally helps after 8 other officers arrived....stay home honey and raise kids, youll feel better.
“What has changed?”
Endeavor which was previously exclusively male has been feminized.
Policing, soldiering etc were occupations that require the operators to act to a higher standard than occurs in nature. Men as a group are probably no more “brave” than woman. I have seen nothing in my life to indicate that they are. Men however can be ‘controlled’ Once upon a time a man HAD to rise to a minimum standard of performance to even enter a rank. Once there he HAD to conduct himself as a “Man”. Whatever that definition was it supported the mission. If he failed, he, to put it one way, got his manhood card pulled for all to see. If Men failed as a group the society failed as a protective entity.
40 years ago Men expected each other to ACT LIKE MEN and if they failed to do so they were gone. To show FEAR, however much it might be reasonable to feel it in a given situation was destructive of morale. To un man oneself by displaying a violent ‘fear reaction’ in the psychological sense (such as shooting a normal dog in a public place that is doing what dogs do)was about as dangerous and feared and loathed as a thing could be. Today no one even knows that...except the old people. The responsibility that men bore, to the society and it’s fundamental law, in the past, is gone.
What was it that the male author said when asked how he, a man, “wrote” woman so well?
The two cops were clearly in an “Anti Crime” Unit. When I was in Anti Crime in the 77 pct in Bed-stuy. It was a kick ass take names later unit. We knew who the enemy was and did hand to hand combat with them. If you weren’t willing to let hands fly you got flopped back to the bag. The girl here is useless. If this was happening in my unit as soon as the prep turned his back my partner would have jumped on top of him. Notice the would be Eric Garner didn’t fear turning his back on the girl. The PC people can talk through their ashes all they want about “women are just as tough as men” in police work but that’s a joke. The thug didn’t get that message read to him at roll call. He just knows who to be afraid of and who he doesn’t have to worry about. He made the girl as a puke right off. Heaven help these cops with partners like this. Even the uniformed girl stood around while the men did the fighting. UGH!!!
No! Society now favors its criminal element in earlier times society did not.
