Glen Beck is a devoted Mormon. We all know that that faith embraced polygamy at one point. A clear error. I have no idea what their position is on gay marriage, nor do I care.
It is odd that the LDS Church put out a statement against the SCOTUS ruling. I think Glen must be letting his Libertarianism lead on this one. No, I don’t accept Mormonism as anything but a phony Moroni cult.
That was a wonderful statement. I'm going to use it and remember it. Along those line, the next time someone says "how does it effect you", ask them how it effects them if you use the word 'nigger', then take it from there.
Mormons are against gay marriage but Beck has never had a problem with it.
The only way anyone could say that gay marriage doesn’t affect them is if they are unaffected by the suffering of children. The children are suffering right now in these homosexual homes and this ruling will make it exponentially worse. Homos contemptuously call us “breeders”. They want to take our kids, abuse them and force them to act like little mascots for their lifestyle and the Supreme Court of Judicial Activism has just handed them the license, literally.
Okay, I had to look it up because that does not comport with what I thought his stance would have been:
He does not support gay marriage:
“Glenn has a pretty clear stance on gay marriage: if it neither picks his pocket or breaks his leg, it doesnt matter to him if gay marriage is legal or not. He simply doesnt believe people of faith and churches should be forced to support it if they dont believe it. In fact, government shouldnt even be a part of it. But with gay marriage now before the Supreme Court, he predicts that a ruling in favor of gay marriage could drastically change churches across the country.
Hears (sic) my prediction: If gay marriage goes through the Supreme Court and gay marriage becomes fine and they can put teeth in it so now they can go after the churches, like the presidents lawyer says 50% of our churches will fall away. Meaning the congregations, within five years, 50% of the congregants will fall away from their church. Because they wont be able to take the persecution, Glenn said. Because the stigma of going to church will be too much.
