So I’m guessing they’re using legal aid lawyers, too, huh?

Half of all marriages end in divorce. Why should gay marriages be any different?

That’s not only incorrect, that’s woefully ignorant.

My greatest hope is that Barney Frank gets sucked into a marriage with a cute little fag boy who then takes him for half his sh!t in a real-life legal you-screwed divorce.

That’s justice.

My cousin's son got involved in a same-sex marriage when it was first allowed in VT. The "wife" left my cousin's son, and the courts gave the ex-spouse almost everything.

(this was weird to write because "him" and "her" no longer have meaning in relationships!)

AFAIK, the first same-sex ‘divorce’ was in Massachusetts under Gov. Romney a few months after the first same-sex marriage.

I have a feeling a lot of these couples are rushing to get married just for the activism and symbolic impact, and not because they really want to get married (let alone remain monogamous).

After the novelty wears off, the divorce lawyers will step in.

I would bet a lot of these homosexual “marriages” are only be done for the specific purpose to get divorced the next day. It’s all fake marriages, being done on purpose to destroy the institution of holy matrimony.

If you have the governor of the state preside, then it is obviously a political statement, not a covenant.

Wait, wait WAIT!!! I thought the whole reason for the court’s decision was so these people could “FINALLY” have stability and express their love in a committed life-long relationship!!!

WTH??? I guess that wasn’t the real reason after all - go figure!

After the novelty wears off they just won’t bother with marriage at all.

If a gay couple filed for an annulment, how would anyone be able to tell the marriage had never been consummated? /rhetorical sarcasm

Half of all marriages end in divorce.

That may be true but it's misleading.  Most people are normal and marry someone of the opposite sex and they stay married.  Some divorce, a lot, and it makes the divorce/marriage ratio look high.

As for same sexers my bet is there are very few who are only staying married for the sake of the children...
