In all the years I’ve lived in NYC apts. I’ve never smelled smoke from another apt. Never.
This was predicted to happen back in the early nineties when the public bans were happening. It popped up here and there but with today’s whackos, I am sure this has a stronger foundation to actually become reality. If I recall a few years ago it was illegal to smoke in your own car in the presence of a child. The smokers I know already step outside their homes to smoke. they go into their garage with the garage door partially open or step out on their porch or back deck. Smokers are already self imposing this on themselves however that doesn’t necessarily mean a law has to be on the books. Heard this one too: “And before you know it they will make a law on the air we breathe.”

I hope all the people who smoke fancy cigarettes at their wine parties in Manhattan condos and apartments are happy with who they voted for. May they continue to get an endless series of demands and restrictions from the Marxist they elected. With any luck at all he’ll start taxing the air they breathe, because it’s for The Children.
I’ve said it for some time to my friends and acquaintances... Obamacare is going to be the entry into “regulating” all aspects of our lives. “Healthy” eating, too much or too little, Exercise, too much or too little. What you do for recreation, no mountain biking, no motorcycle riding, Hiking... well only on ‘easy’ trails.
It’s going to be hell on earth with each one of us wrapped up in bubble wrap, to protect us from ourselves.
But, but it’s those evil Republicans that want to get in your house and run your lives.
