Donald Trump’s Yuuge Hypocrisy
The National Review ^ | 4/25/2015 | Jonah Goldberg

Posted on 06/29/2015 12:33:39 PM PDT by bkepley

Dear Reader (and Sid Blumenthal who, like some albino monk in a Dan Brown novel, feels that this is your time to defend the faith from the infidel menace and their horrifying reliance on truth, facts, and logic), So this may be my last “news”letter.

We had some good times, didn’t we? I’m not sure what I’ll miss more: The thoughtful e-mails from really smart people offering me insights that never would have occurred to me?

We had some good times, didn’t we? I’m not sure what I’ll miss more: The thoughtful e-mails from really smart people offering me insights that never would have occurred to me?

The touching encouragement when times have been dark?

Or maybe it was simply the opportunity to have turned the Florida-recount phrase “Hanging Chad” into a necrophiliac gay-porn joke. It’s a tough call. The fact remains I’ll miss almost all of you. But this is the end, because Donald Trump says I have to resign. You see, I compared his Twitter style to that of a 14-year-old girl.

.@JonahNRO You stated that I started “relentlessly tweeting like a 14-year-old girl...” Horrible insult to women. Resign now or later!

People have been forced to resign positions for far less than @JonahNRO’s “tweeting like a 14 year old girl”

It’s the way people from Long Islang say huge, and pronounce words beginning with “hu” in general.

That’s an affront to 14 years old girls.

He attacks via Twitter anyone who he says anything he deems less than flattering about him. He has issues.

I read NRO but they annoy me with their predilection for Rinos.

Jonah’s a loser.

Trump is a wealthy little 14 year old boy, not a 14 year old girl. Not fit for the office.

NR’s motto has always been “the most right-ward leading viable candidate” and it’s not for everyone. Especially the fools who believe Trump is viable.

Maybe Trump is planning on using the money from his Univision lawsuit to but NR.

I think Trump just shoots off his mouth on Twitter without thinking. Kinda like a 14 year old girl.

Donald will fire Obama January 20, 2017 when he kicks him out of the White House.

I was just reading that other thread where you held your own quite well.

Those Trump fans are now at the point where they think he should not receive criticism. The hysteria and frothing at the mouth over there was amazing.

They’re going to be crushed when it’s over.

I think it’s interesting how FR jumps on Obama when he attacks private citizens and media, but not Donald Trump.

This guy has a long, long way to go to even start looking Presidential.

From what I can gather, many of his supporters don’t care whether he looks presidential or not. They’re in awe of his bombastic declarations, and they don’t take it much beyond that...the comment you see most of all is “He’s saying all the right things, he’s telling it like it is!”

Well, so what?

Ted Cruz is a pretty blunt truth-teller himself, but he doesn’t flail around looking for someone to yell at. He’s cool, sharp, and intelligent, and I think he looks perfectly presidential.

While Trump is threatening lawsuits, Cruz is laying out policy that can be used to do something about judicial tyranny.
