De Blasio continues crusade against smoking at home

Mayor de Blasio is ramping up the city’s war against smoking — at home, The Post has learned.

The administration is planning to select and pay four health-advocacy groups $9,000 apiece to pressure landlords and developers to prohibit smoking in their apartment complexes so neighboring tenants don’t inhale secondhand smoke.

That means smokers would be barred from lighting up in one of their last sanctuaries: their own living quarters. Smoking is already banned in public places, including bars and restaurants, workplaces, sports venues and parks.

Does anyone really think this is an issue only about health?

This is strictly a method of controlling people.

How much longer before we see a headline reading:

"De Blasio continues crusade against eating meat at home"?

Keep voting democrat, New Yorkers, it's for the children afterall.

It isn’t about health lest they would have banned them altogether. But if they did that, they’d lose that tremendous windfall in taxes they get from selling cigarettes.

If you want to ponder something, think about who’d have a worse time? A smoker quitting cigarettes, or a frigging government giving up the tax money from it. My bet is on government being the backslider.

Every time I see an article like this, my mind flashes to the article last week about how over population is killing off the earth. Therefore the logical conclusion is that ..... Nevermind. There is no logic in liberalism.

Watch if your on Obamacare mandatory “health inspections” in the home without a warrant. They will be able to go fishing without any restraint. They will get away with this because it will be a “voluntary” condition to receive government run health care. The case workers will of course look for health risks such as fire arms or mental illness such as Conservative beliefs or that Christian superstition that will impede their clients ability to function in the new and transformed Obama society.

Mike Smoking Nazi Bloomberg was a Republican who became an Independent.

This nannyism cuts across party lines. Remember Mike Huckabee desiring a national smoking ban during one of his many thousand Presidential campaigns?

The idea of government telling us how much water our toilets can flush, what kind of light bulb we can use, how big a soft drink (if any) we are permitted to buy, and now whether we can use a legal product in our own homes . . . I never would have guessed that our country would fall so far in my lifetime. I despise petty tyrants like De Balsio.

Ironic, isn’t it, that DeCommieo would probably have no problem with smoking weed at home.

Since the SCOTUS decisions last week and so many before you can bet the Progressive Liberal Democrat Communists will be greatly emboldened they know they can make the laws they want and disregard the laws they want; not that they haven’t been doing so all along but now they will do so with a demonic hell fire vengeance.

And many Americans are completely comfortable with this sort of compulsion.

Was home last month and attended a Washing Nationals game. There is no smoking allowed in the ballpark. What a pain....

"De Blasio continues crusade against smoking at home..."

However, he reiterated his support for internment style reeducation camps for non-communists. What a nicely balanced screw ball this guy is.

Then when the armed agents of the state enforce his law, he and every other liberal will blame the cops when the angry grandma refuses to put out her cigarette.
