Jeb Bush is always facing nagging questions about the Bush familys political legacy. Now hes got another: John Roberts.
With conservatives up in arms over Roberts role in preserving Obamacare, Jeb Bush suddenly finds himself called to answer for the chief justice appointed by his brother, George W. Bush. And not just Roberts Jeb is also taking flak for David Souter, the liberal justice appointed by his father, George H.W. Bush.

Don’t blame Bush...blame Roberts!!
What I want to know is: WHO RECOMMENDED ROBERTS TO GW ..??
I think W was the Dauphin.
House Bush of Coral Gables is a cadet branch of the family.
I will support any political candidate who promises that none of his Supreme Court nominees will even be lawyers at all.
The Bush presidents were liberal Republicans. They helped the growth of RINO’ism. They helped establish the Uniparty.
Roberts and Souter are glittering examples of their liberalism.
I guess I do not understand the disappointment all have with Roberts on the latest decisions. He’s a lib, appointed by a lib, and acts like a lib. In other words, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, chances are it is a duck. I just could not see why anyone expected any different from Roberts.
The only difference between the Bush’s is Jeb is out of the closet. Probably the most honest one of the three. He openly wants to legalize the illegal invasion of our nation. There is absolutely nothing pro-American or conservative about this jerk.
I see a twisted similarity here with Nazism. Jeb wants to legalize the illegals which will destroy the nation as we know it. Hitler made illegal the Jews which were legal citizens which in the end helped destroy Germany and got several Nazi leaders convicted and hung.
You are trying to make sense on a nonsensical thread.
When Politico is slamming a GOP candidate, it’s a sign that candidate is one preselected as “acceptable” to run for the office, and lose.
One Bush gave us Souter, the other gave us Roberts, what nightmare would Jeb give us.
The court is not 6-4 balance to liberals.
Blame Bush and Roberts.
And I blame Bush for a lot of the stuff...not the way the left blames Bush mind you, but he stood by and didn’t say a damned thing from the bully pulpit as the media trashed him - and by extension all of us - daily - for EIGHT FRIGGIN YEARS.
Want to know why there are so many lo info voters? Because neither Bush (Rove) from the White House nor McCain / Romney from the campaign ever pushed back on any of this crap.
I absolutely blame Bush. And Roberts.
Anybody paying attention knows the entire Bush clan are soft socialists of the New World Order Corporatist bent. It is no secret they are NOT conservatives and never have been.
No matter.
Jeb! will be shoved down our throats by the shadow government in control. The commie dems had their 8 years to appease the UN. Now Jeb will get his 8 years to appease Big Business.
It is all done but the crying. Vote for your hopeless conservative losers. It won’t matter a bit. Jeb! is the next president and there is not a single thing you can do about it. The Dynasty rolls on.
I have not nation to mourn anymore and I have no president. I am a man without a country.
John Roberts makes Harriet Myers look like Oliver Wendell Holmes.
The Bush family has a history of selecting Leftist Supreme Court Judges.
They are Establishment/Globalist that run under the Republican ticket.
There is NO WAY I’ll ever vote for a Bush again.
Why blame just one when you can blame both?
from a conservative's viewpoint, Bush was a bad president. He signed anything the liberal congress put in front of him. And frankly, his unwillingness to defend his positions speaks more about his positions being indefensible than comity. All the smoke around Bush, including the appointment of Roberts, suggests there was a fire. Stay out the Bushes!
“attempt to turn conservatives against one another”
What does that have to do with Jeb Bush? He ain’t no conservative.
When we get down to the election and we have a liberal Republican running and people are deciding whether to vote for him or not, the last argument always thrown out is “Supreme Court appointments”. John Roberts, among others, gives lie to that argument. There is no reason to vote for a liberal Republican.
I agree, its one more reason to not vote for Bush.
The trust is gone.
