Donald Trump: I'm Suing Univision for Hundreds Of Millions Over Miss USA
TMZ ^ | 25 June 2015 | TMZ Staff

Posted on 06/25/2015 11:55:49 AM PDT by Steely Tom

Donald Trump has a vision for Univision ... it involves a courtroom, a jury and a bank account that will be bled dry.

Trump tells TMZ, he will sue Univision for "hundreds of millions of dollars" for breaching what he says is a binding, 5 year deal to air the Miss USA pageant.

The Donald says Univision had no legal right to back out of the deal Thursday, based on his comments about Mexico and Mexicans, saying many of them who come here are drug dealers and rapists.

Trump tells us, the contract, which was signed in January of this year, is iron-clad. He also says Univision became immediately apologetic after pulling the plug, telling him they were backed against a wall and pleading with him not to talk about Mexico anymore or to at least soften his view.

The candidate says, "I love the Mexican people, but I'm running for President and our country comes first."

And, as for Cristian de la Fuente, the "Devious Maids" star who says he's backing out of hosting the pageant, Trump tells us, "We never even signed the guy. After the Miss USA people saw him they were unimpressed."

Univision and LaRaza are symbols that continue to divide us. They must be banned.

I don’t like Trump....but its nice to see someone punch back once in a while. I’m tired of the limp wristed GOP approach to conflict. Where has that gotten us?

When he backs them down then who’s the weenie?

They do these things because the stupid party DOES back down- The Donald won’t.

And that’s a good thing.

Even if he does not get elected president- it will show them how to have some backbone.

“and of course there has to be a personal insult”

Given that the simple truth is insulting, how is he in the wrong? How does it advantage us to refrain from uttering insulting truths about our enemies?

It is decades past time for decent people to realize that civility in dealing with scumbags is not where the moral high ground lies; it is nothing more than a self-imposed handicap.

It doesn’t matter who backs down.

He is still a weenie. He still gets in little girl fights on twitter and makes fun of the tie someone else wore. He is still a thin-skinned celebutard LEFTIST.

You honestly can’t see anything of value in what Trump is saying?

If Univision is going to breach their contract, he’s exactly right to take them to task.

Isn’t that what you’d want a candidate to do if he’s right on point?

Trump is right in the things he is addressing.

Is he egotistical? Yes. In this case, it’s fully warranted.

They have a contract, and they aren’t going to fulfill it because they don’t like him calling Mexico out on immigration and trade. I suppose you think rolling over would be “presidential”? I’ll grant you it would certainly be typical of today’s Republican Party.

No. Nothing Trump says will change what he is. Talk is cheap, we see that from the GOPe during elections.

he is a proud Crony Capitalist

he is no doubt a social liberal

he is pro-union, pro-government healthcare, pro-higher taxes

There is NOT one thing that recommends Donald Trump for election IMO.
