Personally, I think it’s beautiful and very spiritual, but p*ssing on one’s country has become increasingly popular in North America, as the author of this nonsense demonstrates so well.

These writers are screaming for attention like a brat throwing a tantrum. These people are incapable of doing anything productive so they write criticisms of those that do. Let's see him make a better monument.

The comments are all pretty much against it from what I scanned. It would seem to me the only thing that would satisfy them is to build a statue of a robed immigrant woman crouching to piss on the map of Canada on which she stands.

Can’t be as bad as the statue of Mister Rogers which the idiots in Pittsburgh city hall erected near Heinz Field. The sculptor used some avant-garde molten metal technique which makes him look like the cop from The Terminator in mid-reassembly. Scares the living bejeezus out of small children who come and look at it.

I actually came across this a few winters back when I was up there at that park. I was more amused with the Christmas tree decoration contest... where beercans were the ornaments.
