Rush is right
Hassleback was a massive mistake. That show has turned into the feel good, fluffy puppies and cooking Today show.
Hardly watch the show anymore due to her and Trump on there tooting his own horn all the time disgusts me.
Never put yourself in the position of defending Democrat history. They are the party of slavery, slave economics, Jim Crow, KKK, race murder and repression, lynch mobs, truncheons and fire hoses, and all the rest. In the modern era they continue to be a party obsessed with race and dedicated to race politics and ethnic gerrymandering.
Thats their history, let them defend it. We’re the other guys.
The Republican Party is wiping itself out of existence and probably could care less: that way they call all be Democrat.
He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past.
I think there’s a bigger aim than a mere political one.
Its about wiping out Republican opposition? They’ve been doing that for many years.
Btw, I think this goes a bit deeper than getting rid of the of that flag, or the party which more often supports them.
That’s one of the pickles of the Dixie flag situation.
At one point that flag and Democrats (with abysmal attitudes towards black people, by and large) might as well have been the same.
A lot of water has gone under the bridge since Jim Crow ended. Republicans, who were the party that supposedly hated the south, began to appropriate Dixie imagery as the party swept the south, and some of it did fit Republican attitudes better than the Democrat attitudes it served as a fig leaf for. What puts the honesty in redneck? What puts the nobility in rebel?
But now we have a new ignorant generation upon us.
There are many in here who are helping the left without even realizing it
I assume Rush means those Republicans who oppose the Republican establishment, as both parties now seem hell bent on making sure the white middleclass becomes extinct (with Cousin Beauregard Middleclass getting the first "nudge" into the ethnic cleansing program).
Mr. niteowl77
More than you know.
I’ve never seen anyone burn a Confederate Battle Flag, but I have seen many Americans burn the American flag.
So I would have to say the Stars and Stripes days are numbered.
At least public display in federal buildings and especially public schools.
After all, it offends our enemies.
<sarc/not
No doubt about it
It must have worked.
I haven’t heard any Republican opposition for some time now.
This is about creating a new MSM Litmus test straw man.
She doesn't bother me. My favorite female Fox and Friends host was E.D. Hill. Gretchen Carlson was okay, but her giggling got on my nerves. Brian Kilmmeade is cute I think
E.D was mine favorite too.
I just can’t stand all this nicey nicey feel good crap and Hassleback is clueless
No matter how entrenched a part of The Establishment they become, the left continually has to cast itself as idealistic underdog battling some bugbear.
It can get ridiculous, and The American Spectator had a good article 3 years ago about it.
It was some UN sponsored Summit on the Rights of Women, and it went bizarredly like this:
Pakistani woman speaker: “My dowry wasn’t high enough, and my Mother in Law set me alight in heating oil, look at my burns...” (big gasp):
Saudi woman speaker: “They don’t let me drive, when I did they whipped me, look at my scars..” (big gasp):
Chinese woman speaker “They didn’t let me have more than one baby, when I conceived my second the bad nurse came with a big needle and forcibly aborted my baby...” (big gasp)
American woman speaker: “The Army academy at West Point won’t build a coven equal in size to the cadet church for the WITCHES on campus...”
(puzzled looks and silence all around)
I think you are correct. This is more than just “political.” It’s an attempt at erasing an entire history and an entire culture.
The Conservative, Christian South is the strongest impediment to total tyranny by the regime. That is what this is about. They must be destroyed.
