“Much more importantly, what does the Bible say?”

Jesus too allowed divorce - in cases of adultery - but He did not allow remarriage unlike what many Protestants falsely believe. Thus, what the Catechism says is in perfect keeping with the Bible.

Lol. That's pretty funny. The Bible says adultery, the catechism says legal rights, care of children or protection of inheritance (without mention of adultery), which means it is completely NOT in line with the Bible.
