Most “assault weapon” owners are ignoring NY gun law

Ever since the hilariously inaccurately named SAFE Act was passed in New York, gun owners and Second Amendment advocates have been stonewalled by the state government whenever attempts were made to find out more about how it was being implemented. But one group, the Shooters Committee on Political Education, (SCOPE) managed to break through the wall of silence this month and found out residents have been largely turning their backs on at least one aspect of the law. Owners of so called “assault weapons” in the Empire State are supposed to voluntarily go through a special registration process to let Big Brother know who and where they are, but in large numbers the response has been to just say no.

The New York state government is a criminal regime and disobedience to criminals is a civic obligation!

NY’s slogan is “The Empire State”.
Go figure.

The writers of that article are trying to sic the NY authorities on those recalcitrant gun owners. Nothing less.

NYC led the way with the “assault weapons” confiscations in the early ‘90s (David Dinkins). Don’t think the local STASI won’t enforce this either.

Same thing happened in CT. Most people ignored the law, this apparently confused lawmakers who assumed people would bed over and accept it.

“THEY cannot jail all of US............”

According to “The Small Arms Survey of 2007” (which was before the Half-Breed got going) there were 89 guns per 100 residents of the USA. My guess is that that number is low today. So good luck with any move to “confiscate” guns in this country. The US has double the number of guns per capita over the next country which is Serbia.

THEY cannot jail all of US............

They cannot do that. But they can arrest ten and put them on a lengthy show trial that is broadcast on all TV channels.

Daytime, court time, TV is the providence of many ARMED women. Probably not good to piss them off with some pointless and illegal court drama bumping thier shows from the air.

All NY-ers should be aware Cuomo has quietly acquired enormous Fed Funds from DHS on the grounds of terrorism to amp up the NYSP Covert Surveillance Division. As we speak, NYSP is training up enormous numbers of covert vehicle and foot surveillance, especially in Weschester, NYC, Nassau, and Suffolk (run a scanner looking for encrypted radio traffic to see if they are near you.)

They are loading the telephone poles with covert video and even audio (check pole wiring as you travel to see where they are operating), and they are moving into observation posts (which double as housing for the covert trainees) in many neighborhoods. Observation posts will usually look like a normal couple or even a family, with a few guys living in an apartment downstairs, and three to five or more cars frequenting their driveway. They may even start a small business, like landscaping or photography, as part of their cover. Part of the training is to monitor their own neighborhood, and I assume those training reports are getting archived.

When I say they are building it up, I don’t mean a few hundred new operators. It is much bigger.

I’m sure they are monitoring ranges, and joining gun clubs, to train their infiltration trainees. Whether any of this machine will even do terrorism ops is doubtful, from where I stand. It looks more like just a massive DHS-funded surveillance state being built around the nation’s finance and investment center to monitor everyone.

If you visit a range with an unregistered AW or illegal mag, or if you talk about this in your gun club in front of other members, or even if a family member or friend mentions it around, it will probably go in a file somewhere, and I assume they will enforce en masse at some point, to give all such gun owners felonies, and legally disarm them fully, once and for all.

Don’t ask how I know about this.

"....how many bullets in my magazine." You probably mean cartridges.

Bullets are to cartridges as flour is to bread, as cement is to concrete, as fenders are to automobiles, etcetera's.

If you wish your writing to be taken seriously, it is best to first learn the language.

“The writers of that article are trying to sic the NY authorities on those recalcitrant gun owners. Nothing less.”

How does one oppose tyranny, if they are afraid to talk about it or write about it. Telling people about successfull resistance is the opposite of sicing the NY authorities on recalcitrant gun owners.

Ignoring the problem will not make it go away. It needs to be publicized.

The hope that they will “eat me last”, because I did not draw any attention to myself, is a vain one.
