Symbolism. A murderer burned the US flag and admired the confederate flag. Politicians want to ban the confederate flag. Will they seek to ban the murderer’s other symbols?
No. They’ve wanted to eliminate the confederate flag for a long time now. This is just an excuse.
They are desperate to politicize something, anything, about these shootings and get a political win over the horrible murders of innocent people by a dead-eyed lunatic strung out on who knows what cocktail of drugs.
The ba$tard socialists want to destroy our heritage so they can replace it with their version rewritten to support their ultimate goal. The useful idiots in office can’t even see they are being used.

I was talking to some black members of my church yesterday. The conversation was about vacations and wandering into the wrong parts of a strange town, particularly after dark. Even they think parts of New Orleans or South Side Chicago is downright scary.
So in this (supposedly) representative form of government, why would you do such a thing? Aren't you supposed to represent the will of your constituents, and not your personal opinion????

RINO Graham and worthless RINO Romney supporting Nikki Haley should be ashamed of themselves. Hopefully this is remembered come election time. If the legislature votes for it to come down, it is because of one reason and one reason only. They are scared there will be race riots over the state. Makes me sick to my stomach. But let me tell you if the flag comes down, that will not be enough for the haters. They will call for it to be illegal to fly a Confederate flag in public anywhere. They want it a hate crime to fly the flag in public. Only place you’ll be able to honor your GG grandma’s service will be by hanging a flag on your wall at home.
