Mark is a true patriot and he will go down in history as such. He can hold his head high and those he represents can be proud of him. Not so for those who did this to him. They will go down in history as traitors and cowards.
Where are the conservative members standing up to fight this? There may not be much they can do, but undermining, and embarrassing leadership would be a start. At least make leadership hesitant to do this stuff.

It’s time to vote third party, write in a name or stay home. Let the democrats have it. That will get rid of the gop. Then build a real conservative power.
For almost 16 years we’ve heard “Change the party from the inside” and “We can’t survive another two years so we don’t have time to start a third party.” If one had been started in 2008 it would be a strong opposition today.

Perhaps conservatives should vote Democrat, vote Libertarian, or stay home to send a message. The current conservative approach of automatically voting for the GOP candidate in the fall, even if that candidate is “least worst” is not advancing the conservative cause since the GOPe takes the conservative vote for granted.
My GOP representative and GOP Senators are establishment toads. My Republican state senator will not answer a letter and her staff is incapable of having a coherent telephone conversation with a constituent regarding policy. If Jeb is the GOP presidential nominee, I may just vote a straight Democrat ticket to protest the GOPe.
A Democrat landslide in 2016 because conservatives stay home or vote “D” would force the GOPe to cater to conservatives or risk the party going the way of the Whigs.
the electoral system is broken beyond redemption in my view. The uniparty picks the candidates, makes the rules, decides who can run, and in the end counts the votes. So given all that, I’m supposed to take time out of my day to vote for one of two kleptocrats?

Chaffetz has become such a backstabbing douchebag that if I could go back in time to his first election to Congress, I’d switch my support to Chris Cannon. At least Cannon was honest about his pro-illegal policies, and was otherwise a reliable conservative. Chaffetz would drive over his grandmother.
At the risk of no one agreeing with me and being flamed by Levinbots, voting with the RATS on a procedural motion is a major no-no. While this is severe punishment, it should be discouraged.
Of course, I support TPA.
