The same fears seem to motivate Dolezal and Jenner:
- the fear of seeming ordinary
- the fear of fading into the background as one ages and one’s physical appearance gets less attention from others
- the fear of boredom, not having a challenge to surmount
It seems like today more people than in the past have a hollow soul, combined with an intense narcissism. Quite a dangerous and volatile combination.

Many celebs will try to get in on the Fame quality of crossdressing and crossclaiming. It is the Next Big Thing. Few, if any, will undergo the physical butchery that would indicate sincerity but all will claw their way to the covers of fashion magazines.
Perhaps it would only be proper to refer to all liberals of whatever “sect” as IT.

I think it goes beyond mere fame-seeking. I think it stems from a rejection of anything that is status quo. It’s a demented compulsion to imprint your personal signature on history, to do something — anything — that will make you stand out among the faceless, anonymous, and forgotten. It comes from hubris, the belief that you are somehow more worthy of recognition than the proletarian masses. History has been waiting breathlessly for YOU to appear to straighten it out. Or, as Shakespeare put it:
The time is out of joint. O, cursed spite
That ever I was born to set it right.

You should refer to them as She, He, It or Transgendered, or simply use the acronym S.H.I.T.
