The effort to draft Elizabeth Warren is finally coming to a close.
Weeks after MoveOn.org and Democracy for America shuttered their own campaign to entice the liberal senator into the 2016 presidential race, the super PAC that started the draft Warren effort almost a year ago is getting behind Sen. Bernie Sanders.

I suspect Rachel Dolezal was the last straw for Fauxahontas for this campaign season. Too many instant comparisons. Bad ones.

The rest of the country does not realize how terrible a candidate she would be. First she only beat Scott Brown 54 to 46 in a very liberal state during a Presidential election year. Although she was a law professor her debating skills are weak. Scott Brown is no mental giant but he clearly won every debate. Warren’s press conferences are scripted and obviously rehearsed, she has several P.R. people surrounding her deflecting any difficult questions. Deval Patrick campaigned a lot for Warren and would take on the fake Indian question. She repeats the same speech over and over again. Ted Kennedy was no mental giant either but he had a competent and effective staff that replied to questions and helped out his constituents. Liz Warren cares about Liz Warren. Liberals love Warren for her vitriol against corporations and banks. Warren offers no solution or alternative to this system or “problem”. Outside the moon-bat community the Democrat machine obviously sees the problems with a Warren candidacy otherwise they would be drafting Warren.
She coulda been a contendah.

It is necessary to distinguish between “weak if elected” and “weak in terms of electability.” You say Lizzy is both, but Hillary is both as well. Presently, Hillary has a lot of dirt coming out about her past conduct. Whether the deplorably ignorant majority of the US voting public will be affected by that is yet to be seen.
While everything you say about Lizzy is true, I still think she gives more crowd-pleasing patter (even if it’s often the same patter) than Hillary, and she doesn’t have as much of a past.
This begs the main question: If not Hillary, and not Lizzy, who would the Dem savior be?
i think the recent rachel dolezal / transracial debacle scared the crap out of the left... so much so, they juiced some poor kid into going on a killing spree just to get rachel off the front page (ok, that might be a bit much tinfoil... but they’d do it if they could)
but seriously, the transracial thing was jeopardizing two of the lefts sacred cows. the homo agenda’s transsexuals and the politics of race.

Reminds me of when John Elway grabbed Peyton Manning to be Denver's No. 1 QB after a bunch of neck surgeries and was asked about his "Plan B" - "we have no Plan B, we're sticking with Plan A."
The Dems have no Plan B - there is only Hillary. This should be an interesting summer.
Believe or not but Hillary is a much better public speaker than Warren. Warren is just not ready for prime-time I don’t think she ever will be. Warren is obviously use to talking to college age kids behind ivory coated walls where she never had to answer a tough question or be challenged on a political stance. And now being a Senator from Massachusetts this situation continues publically. If she runs, Warren will play up her Oklahoma roots to gain favor with the middle of the country but her politics will just turn people away. She won’t implode like Howard Dean but she will make several gaffs and the awkwardness will leave people wondering how she ever became a law professor never mind a U.S. senator.
