(Ammoland.com)- On June 16 2015 the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals begins hearing an appeal of their own decision against the “good cause” requirement in California’s concealed carry process.

The 3-judge panel of the 9th Circuit ruled against the requirement in February 2014, saying, “The right to bear arms includes the right to carry an operable arm outside the home for the lawful purpose of self-defense.” Moreover, they ruled that because the right extends outside the home, there is no need to show “good cause”– the right to do so is cause enough.

Outside the home? Works for me "cause" there's evil lurking out there. "Cause" enough for me.

Does the First Amendment Apply Outside the Home?

There's an agenda afoot to turn the application of the entire Constitution against We the People.

The alternative is to believe the founding fathers believed that firearms should be kept locked when outside the home.

Can someone actually point out the part where it said that the right applies only within a house???

No?

Nothing?

But apparently the “right” to an abortion or for gay marriage applies ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE?

Wow!
When the 9th Circus starts making rulings like this, the 2nd Amendment is really getting some momentum.

Dred Scott vs Sanford.
What the SCOTUS thought about gun control in the pre Civil War era.

http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/historics/USSC_CR_0060_0393_ZO.html

It would give to persons of the negro race, who were recognised as citizens in any one State of the Union, the right to enter every other State whenever they pleased, singly or in companies, without pass or passport, and without obstruction, to sojourn there as long as they pleased, to go where they pleased at every hour of the day or night without molestation, unless they committed some violation of law for which a white man would be punished;

and it would give them the full liberty of speech in public and in private upon all subjects upon which its own citizens might speak; to hold public meetings upon political affairs,
and to KEEP AND CARRY ARMS wherever they went.

So the Constitution constrains government power only inside ones home?

What I first wrote was quite funny, but I’d be on EVERY watch list out there if I posted it, LOL!

I mean, not that I’m not already on some of those lists, being a White, Christian, Capitalist Gun Owner! :)

As demonstrated by this jerk who shot up some folks in a church, the right to self-preservation is first and foremost.

If the 9th Circus rules against being armed outside the home, it will directly contradict other rulings and force a SC showdown where I think that freedom will win.

” I think that freedom will win.” We could hope but I don’t put a lot of faith in the supremes these days.

Does the 1st amendment apply outside of the home? How about the 4th amendment? If the answer is yes to those amendments, then why wouldn’t it also apply outside the home to the 2nd amendment?
