There seem to be certain people that are “highly functional” when/after smoking pot. And others that are completely worthless.
I’ve met and worked with both.
I’ve been in meetings with a CEO, COO, CFO, National Sales director etc .. where I was the only one that wasn’t stoned. This was a 100 million plus company.
Highly functional “wake and bake” types.
I’ve also worked with many others that were functional and many more that were a disaster to be around.
Personally, I don’t smoke pot. In HS? it was what my day was centered around. I grew out of that. I’ll drink a few beers mostly out of boredom. Just something to take the edge off and get creative impulses.

My BIL is stoned 24x7 and he works in a sawmill. He works but he has no ambition to do anything else. He plays in a band but is tired of doing that as well. By stoned 24x7, I mean he drives while stoned. Stoned is his default state.
If he ever discovers Youtube, we’ll lose him for good.
