Amen to your Heaven-Enabled, Beautiful Prayer, Dear Servant of our King.

We spend so much time and energy seeking the things of this world. Yet, we so frequently fail to recognize that the true gifts---the perfect gifts are from You and come from You, the One Who so freely gives and never changes. How simple, yet abundant our lives can be, Father, when we simply pursue You instead of all the trappings of this world. Help us, Lord, to make You our first priority, that in You we may find life’s very best, and secure our place with You in eternity.
Lord, we ask that You place loving Christians in the paths of each of our military men and women so that they receive every opportunity possible to accept Your beautiful gift of salvation. Hide them in the shadow of Your wings, Lord, so that they may be safe always and return home to their loved ones at the appointed time. May this time of service be one in which they grow to depend on You for all that they need.
Lord, guide our Supreme Court members as they soon announce their decisions on marriage issues. We know what Your will is, Lord, and we pray that these Court members submit to that will as well. Grant them the courage to rule according to Your truth, even when it may not be popular.
Help us, Father, in these troublesome times. We cannot survive this present evil day without You. Hold us close in Your everlasting arms and help us to incline our hearts unto You alone. In the Name of Jesus Christ, everlasting Lord, Amen.

And to smite the bad guys...
And help us weed out the abominations to Your commandments out of our military and out of this nation so that this nation that was founded by those who sought to freely worship You is once again a God fearing nation.
