Circumstances surrounding the deadly Waco biker rally remain unclear, and local police are shielding details of the incident from the public.
This just builds up more suspicion on our government, Ron Paul said during his latest Liberty Report.
The three-time presidential candidate and former Texas Representative Paul raised concerns about the ever-growing number of questions about the biker rally shooting, including why the Federal Bureau of Investigation was involved, what evidence the Waco Police Department gathered from the incident, how the shooting got started, the number of weapons on the scene, and who shot whom.
Nearly 1,000 bikers rallied in Waco this past weekend in support of the biker rally shooting victimsnine individuals died as a result of gunshot woundsand the 143 bikers who remain behind bars without charge.
The Waco Police Departments decision not to release any information about the incident or evidence collected from the scene harkened to the redacted 28 pages of the 9/11 Joint Congressional Inquiry report, Paul said.
This seems like wholesale injustice, Paul said. My suspicion is they have a lot of evidence. Like Truth In Media on Facebook
Paul also addressed the issue of proportionality in the way police respond to public disturbances. Proportionality, as it is considered in just war theory, should be considered here, he said.
There is disturbance of peaceful operations and theres a responsibility to check into it. But to end up with a bunch of people getting killed, and then all of a sudden arresting all of these people? They could have taken their names and addresses down or something like that. They could probably review a camera pretty quickly, say, within an hour or two they will decide who might have been more involved.
Another recent incident exemplifying the need for proportionality also comes out of Texas. Video shows aggressive police response at a disturbance call to a pool party in McKinney had no proportionality that we saw, Paul said. He noted, We would get a little rowdy as kids but we never dealt with that.

Paging Gov. Abbott.. WTF? It’s time for the Governor to step in and exert pressure on Waco officials. ‘Guilty until proven innocent’ is an UNLAWFUL practice! Excessive bail, stonewalling and obstruction of public release of information is ludicrous here. This reminds me of the ETERNAL DELAY of the final report on Bergdahl. WTF is it? It’s time for Abbott to make demands.
Not only that but you have to assume many, if not most of them acted in self-defense.
ping.
Sure laid out wrong for that.
Looks like the blue haze is going for some kind of vicarious criminal status like in a joint bank robbery. Except who planned this altercation or any other crime that was a proximate cause? It just won’t wash. Nothing on the statutes forbids an assembly like this.
Waco is lucky if it only gets laughed out of the court and they are stung no worse.
“Nothing on the statutes forbids an assembly like this.”
Well, actually, there is this:
“Texas Penal Code § 71.02. Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
(a) A person commits an offense if, with the intent to establish, maintain, or participate in a combination or in the profits of a combination or as a member of a criminal street gang, the person commits or conspires to commit one or more of the following:
(1) murder, capital murder, arson, aggravated robbery, robbery, burglary, theft, aggravated kidnapping, kidnapping, aggravated assault, aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, continuous sexual abuse of young child or children, solicitation of a minor, forgery, deadly conduct, assault punishable as a Class A misdemeanor, burglary of a motor vehicle, or unauthorized use of a motor vehicle;”
https://www.nationalgangcenter.gov/Legislation/Texas
So if the “brawl” started as any kind of dispute between rival criminal gangs over territory or profits, a case could be made that anyone who participated in it ran afoul of this statute.
So the Christian MC and Boozefighters, oh, and Marine MC and Vet MC were knowing accomplices to crime? More and more it appears they were witnesses to crime and that is why they were arrested. Once they have their witness “straight” they can probably be let go.
“So the Christian MC and Boozefighters, oh, and Marine MC and Vet MC were knowing accomplices to crime?”
If they participated in a brawl between criminal gangs over territory or profit, then yes, it would appear they were.
Where is there evidence of conspiracy other than law enforcement “planned” to be in the area while carrying high powered rifles?
Well, let’s see, there was this big meeting organized and run by members of criminal gangs right before the incident...
but other than that, yeah I guess there is no evidence of conspiracy.
Depends on how many $10M law suits there are against the city, county, WPD, MCSD, and individual suits. At this point, law suits are the only thing that is going to wake the Waco taxpayers up.
Participated by being present? Good thinking! President Cruz can just arrest every libtard present at the DNC! And you say there is legal precedent for it. Thanks!
How is that evidence of conspiracy (i.e., plan as a group to commit a felony)?
The racketeering laws have morphed into something well beyond original intent. It should be a matter of interest that no other charges have been placed and we are coming up on a month.
Don’t most counties have a Grand Jury formed and subject to call?
Of course when we learned that weapons had been sent to the Feds for testing, any doubts about this thing being walked as slowly as possible were removed.
It’s as much evidence as what you offered regarding the cops.
We know law enforcement planned to be there and they came prepared for action with their high powered rifles.
Don’t see that applying to anyone there who was not a Cossack or a Bandido.
Waco is going to pay out a lot of money.
Right, which isn’t really any kind of solid evidence of a criminal conspiracy. If you accept that level of evidence for the cops’ intentions, then you have to accept the same type of evidence for the bikers’ intentions.
