We've come to live in an era when people don't know who may be listening or watching, even when they're on their own property. The Associated Press reported last week that the FBI has been flying over U.S. cities, spying on citizens.
The FBI has developed a civilian air force, "obscured behind fictitious companies," according to AP, which traced at least 50 aircraft back to the FBI.
Those planes flew more than 100 times in 11 states, over a 30-day period from late April to late May. They flew over both major cities and rural areas.
Aircraft that once were used to help with surveillance on the ground now are equipped with high-tech cameras and sometimes technology capable of tracking thousands of cellphones. The Drug Enforcement Administration uses planes in a similar manner, according to AP.
The FBI said it does not use the planes for bulk collection of information or mass surveillance but does for ongoing investigations, often without a judge's approval. The report about the flights raised questions about Americans' privacy just as Congress debated whether to extend another program that collected domestic telephone records.

Just a few years ago this comment would have resulted in "Tin foil, black helicopter conspiracy wacko" responses.
Now we all know it was the so-called conspiracy wacko's who were absolutely right all along.
no, it’s still the conspiracy wackos
You can tell some people they’re flat out being conned and lied to while getting their pockets looted, and some people like you bert just won’t believe it.
OK, so let’s assume i could trust Reagan’s FBI to do this type of surveillance properly for proper and justifiable investigations.
Maybe trust Nixon’s FBI and CIA and NSA with this type of surveillance.
Could we trust the results from W Bush?
From Cheney’s FBI - if we were blessed with such an event?
Could we trust Bill Clinton’s FBI under Janet Reno hate-filed homosexual bigotry?
The racism, bigotry and hatred inherent in between every page of Eric Holder’s Obola FBI?
Will Hillary’s donor-financed FBI (anything you want you first pay me for) with this surveillance?
They’re just puppets. Props for the cameras. But you’re free to trust any government politician you wish.
All those Cessna’s spying on us. :-)
You just nailed it!
“Could we trust Bill Clintons FBI under Janet Reno hate-filed homosexual bigotry?

Will Hillarys donor-financed FBI (anything you want you first pay me for) with this surveillance?”
Why waste our tax $’s on planes with pilots, when they or we can buy very sophisticated drones like the ones shown below:

Some drones we can buy, are able to transmit pictures and data to smart phones. Then, we can those pictures can be sent any where.
Great. I hadn’t even considered the possibility Hillary would ‘sell the services’ of the FBI if she gets in office... now that can be added to the list of potential horrors if Hillary ‘wins’.
What a blast, “plinking” those expensive drones out of the sky with a nice Leupold Mark 6 3-18x44mm M5C2 DAGR and some well-regulated breathing. I can’t wait for them to fly over one of my blinds. LMAO!!!
Looked at the light poles at a local highway exchange. Has always had those big tall poles with a set of lights all the way around at the top. Now each of the poles is topped with a round electronic cylinder device with an aerial.
It would be a terrific idea to put together a site with pictures and explanations of all the surveillance devices.
Also outside of post offices. This camera was spotted in Denver and reported. The next day there was just a hole in the ground there.
This cartoon says it best:
LOL!
