There is nothing redeeming about a speedboat. It's loud, it serves no purpose other than to anger people not in it, it creates a huge wake that's obnoxious on the water and even on the beach and it violently slashes through manatees that bob near the surface of Miami's coastal waters.
There is even less that is redeeming about the kind of person who covets one -- or, worse, actually owns one. Speedboats are made exclusively for assholes.

Those libtard newsers have have tied their shorts in such a tight knot that they've cut off the circulation to their tiny little brains!
The author is a jealous, bitchy little faggot ...
I cant even believe the nonsense they are coming up with. they should be tried as traitors if the time ever comes.
Stopped reading right there.
Wow! When I was 15 my Gramps and I made a small hydroplane from plans purchased from a magazine. This was just too much fun! Loud? Yes. Huge wake? No! Fun? Wish I still had it, but I don’t think I’d fit.
The left has come completely unhinged, flying off in a million different directions (all wrong) and are determined to rip America to shreds. Destruction is all they know.
You and your Gramps would send our hypersensitive sodomite author into uncontrollable paroxysms of horror ...
And you were being kind, lol.

I think Mr. Grim needs some mangina ointment. The little pajama boy has a chapped mangina from jealousy.
Not only that-they have also obviously never owned a boat of any kind-if they had, they’d know the ones most commonly bought are of the multi-purpose variety-skiing, fishing, running around to places the bay or lake and enough power to tow at least two people on skis-not to run over manatees-and all boats make a wake when you throttle up beyond 15 MPH or so-hence the signs at marinas saying “no wake”...
Oh, shut up, you dope.
(Not you, the author.)
I thought we were supposed to add a satire alert to threads.
i added www.huffingtonpost.com and huffingtonpost.com to my HOSTS file so that even if i accidentally click a link to go there and read a story, it will not come up in my browser.
there is NO reason to ever visit that nasty little corner of the interwebz. NO reason whatsoever.
sidebar - for those who don’t know, Windows has a HOST file (usually) hidden in the ./windows/system32/drivers/etc/ folder. that HOSTS file allows you to assign any domain name as local to your machine. this means that it will not ever attempt to load that domain until you alter the HOSTS file and unassign the domain. it’s a handy little trick. i did the same thing with vox.com and www.vox.com, which is another nasty little libtard corner of the interwebz. :)
No doubt! I used to take it up to Glen Lake every Summer. Mostly drove it on Fisher Lake though. Smoother water.
Perhaps I should have read before posting.
Interesting.
I remember a /etc/hosts file from my long-ago UNIX admin days ... was not aware that Windows had one.
