Don’t really care for BOR or MK...but good for them...
usa has great shows and ncis reruns are better than most of current tv.
Germany was a homogenous nation with a robust civil society—and even some experience with parliamentary democracy. Moreover, it and the rest of western Europe was so traumatized by WW2—and so terrified of Soviet invasion, that it didn’t take much convincing for an Allied (US, UK and France)occupation to work in western Germany. Alas, none of those conditions exist in Iraq today, if they ever did.
