Hope he saw the light before he passed. Recently I read his book, “Divinity of Doubt,” where he claimed to be making the case for atheism. All he made was an utter fool of himself. A surprisingly bad book from a former prosecutor, mostly attacking Christianity. The few pages on Islam could have been taken from a paperback desk encylopedia — just 3 or so pages of facts and factoids. The 1-star reviews on amazon say it all.

I hope he did as well. As an attorney, I admired his work, but as a conservative Christian, I pitied him. He arrogantly trusted his own intellect over God’s Word.
