In Phyllis Peterss garage, there is a snow shovel. A nice one: green, shiny, with an ergonomic steel handle. It came from Hillary Rodham Clinton.
And it plays a part in a modern-day political legend, about some of the strangest money a candidate has ever spent.
Eight years ago, Peters was a volunteer for Clintons first presidential run. She had been an admirer of Clinton since her time as first lady. But just before Clinton lost the Iowa caucuses, her staffers did something odd: They bought shovels for Peters and the hundreds of other volunteers.

But this time around, Hillary want people to open up their homes to her volunteers for the night for free, so they can steal your snow shovel.
And your cash, and your silverware, and your young daughters innocence
Maybe this time she'll buy them corn cob holders.
A bent handle; How apropos. A reminder it came from the bent one's wife.
The article is very long winded about nothing real - shovels, deli sandwiches and a helicopter. Nothing about any issue. Exposing that when a candidate has nothing on the issues, only fluff remains to be talked about.
They need a big shovel, like a snow shovel, to shovel their way through all of Hillary’s bull crap, half truths, outright lies and fantasies.
maybe she will take a couple tanker truck full of ethanol home with her this year.
Gotta keep them Iowan’s happy.
I knew Obama won Iowa in ‘08 but I forgot that Thunder Thighs came in 3rd place behind John Edwards. And now, 8 years later, and older, she is prolly more out of touch than she was in ‘08. If only someone, in the DemocRAT Party, with some passion would challenge her....... I’d buy stock in Orville Redenbacher Pop Corn.
“...shovels, deli sandwiches and a helicopter....”
Reminds me of an ad I saw on local Craigslist today for a mixed-breed goat. “I was trying to neuter him when he was 3 weeks old, it didn’t go well. So he has one functional testicle.”
